Congrats mate..Originally posted by kalleo4 View PostOk! the Red Gush was a pleasure & priceless!

so now that its little water downed..
My yamaha r15 2.0 came to me a week back on 12th of Novmeber. just love the way it is designed & the its ergonometrics for the rider.
mine is Red+white combo ride.
She just flaunts everywhere she moves.
ya i can write some poetry.yes in love.lol
come to the ride...
^The Bike has good chunks of power(specially in lowend) to move along the traffic. i was impressed. being coming from a HondaUnicorn.
^ The pillon seat is hard to climb on , but its plants the pillon firmly. I got many positive comments from the pillons.
^ The Bike feels really firm and planted on the road., as of now im adjusting to the growl of the yamaha, very contrast with the slience of the Honda's can say tht. its heart beats good though.
things im doubt at:
^ im maintain an rpm upto 4-5, varying in all gears shift. The gear shift feels little hard as of now ., hope its gets fixed in the first servicing.
^ I feel buzz sound like my front disc is rubbing with something ., sometimes. i wonder why.
^ yess. humming sound persists i guess its from the riadiator. annoying sometimes.
^ the self start needs one more push on early mornings. anybody faced it on they bike?
^ The engine heats gud., it ok as of now., being in winter chill. hard to imagine on hot summers.
As per the issues you are facing, hope for the best.
Do it right away..!!things i should do now:
^ read bike manual first.now!
^ stop worryin. n enjoy the ride!!

Cheers to all the riders.

Hi Guys... Finally after waiting for an eternity (almost 2 months
) I will be getting delivery of my bike tomorrow
. But the problem is passing of the bike will be done on 2nd of December. So is there any problem if I use the bike without the number?

I envy you.
AFAIK, the temporary number is valid for 30 days, so no need to worry!

I am not 5'10" but I have ridden about 600kms. in 8-9 hrs. from Hyderabad-Bangalore twice. No problem at all.
There are people who have done Leh-Ladakah on this bike. No problems whatsoever.
In a matter of 40 days, you'll be so used to the posture that you will feel uncomfortable on other bikes!
Long rides assured no problems. For commuting, you MIGHT feel some stress on your wrists in heavy traffic. I did&solved the problem by getting additional ruber handle bar grips over the existing ones.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

You might be speaking about V1. As I have noticed, V2 has more sportier stance than V1. So touring and long rides may become a pain. My thoughts though, people may differ.

thanks guys. yes, the rider posture in V2 is more sportier than V1 it seems and hence the query.

Cant say the exact figure as my bike is just 7 days old and I haven't checked the exact mileage as of now..But it is definitely giving more than 45 in running-in period..I have driven in 2nd and 3rd gear also quite considerably and on highway also, average mileage is more than 45 as of now.Originally posted by hawx View Postany word on how much kmpl the bike returns...??Solo ride to Ladakh - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/2...ia-ladakh.html

sorry to deviate from topic, maverick how tall are you?.Originally posted by maverick.najju View PostCant say the exact figure as my bike is just 7 days old and I haven't checked the exact mileage as of now..But it is definitely giving more than 45 in running-in period..I have driven in 2nd and 3rd gear also quite considerably and on highway also, average mileage is more than 45 as of now.
two of my friends here got cbr and they are forcing me in the same direction saying "its just 48K extra and you will get all the more boost in displacement, bhp, and more low-mid end torque...." And my only concern is about this backache thing (my job demands me to sit infront of a pc 9+ hours a day and don't want to add on to it)
awaiting report of your ride and pics
PS: I'm 6 Ft tall and 60KGs (terribly underweight
)
