  • Guys I have owned this bike for almost three months by now.. Have just done 1500kms with Two services so far..

I am not satisfied with the free servicing my dealer offers at Bangalore..and pretty sure even for paid service they would treat my bike in same way as they are doing it now..

When I was getting my first two services done, I noticed the Battery they provided in stock is "TATA Green Batteries" (Technology from GSYUASA Japan) with 1 year warranty... This is the first time I got to know that TATA are into Batteries manufacturing too..and little skeptical about the performance of this Battery...

Most of the time my bike is under curton because of office work and very rarely I take out for a ride..

My question is --- "Are these Batteries recommended by Yamaha & common to all R15 V2.0 ??....... Are they reliable, specially in my case as the bike is not it regular use ???"

    Appreciate your suggestions.. Thanks!

A good rider is one who looks at both side of the road, even on One way!

Yes, it is true, it was tata and it is tata, the battery is 3.5 A and thus lacks to support if you want high beam plus horn or if you upgrade either.

                • battery doubts

Guys if the battery of the r15 is so less powered, is it possible to have HID lights on the v2?? or will it give starting problems and other problems like the horn sounding weird??

Yuvasa is a reputed world-known battery manufacturer. TATA Green battery were out long back, more than 4 years now. TATA uses technology from YUVASA to manufacture the batteries. They are definitely of great quality.
