Stickering in a brand new bike is not a cool idea..
May be it can be done after some days when some scratches have occured...
      Yep! Well said gklc811!

Initially, even I hated that color in the pics. I thought, has Yamaha gone crazy to launch such a disgusting color!

      Take a look.

Despite of having the options of taking Blue/Black, I waiting for one more month for the Sunset Red (Red-White) or the 50th Anniversary edition!

As soon as I got a call from the dealer, that the LE Fiery Red has arrived, I said "I dont want that at any cost".
When went to the showroom to inquire about when my bike would come, I saw it just unloaded, standing outside in the sunlight!

I was stunned when I saw her! It looked so different, for a second I thought is another color available, coz the Expo pics look a lot different than the actual bike!
I even saw a brown colored pic from the Expo!

I was so excited on seeing her that I made the payment and got her home the same day!

Here's some pics how she looks!

Well thanks for your advise, i really appretiate it. I personally didnt like that colour so much, even though i have seen it in flesh. It is a nice colour indeed. But i don't want so much of a stickering job, just small stickers logos or something like that. To include i have seen a video of a r15 v 2.0 he had placed a white "46" rossi sticker just next to the headlamps and trust me it was looking astounding. Anyways thanks for your advise dude.

        • My friend got a fiery red as he couldn't get the white limited edition. It was better than how it looked in the picture at the auto expo. Only problem was that the colour resembled the fazer which was parked next to it.

          • Talking about stickers, Does anyone face my problem? The pointed edge of my tail has paint scratched off.. The white tail has a black patch on the pointed place.. What kind of sticker job do you think will be good to hide it? Shall I put in a racing stripe?

That's almost or the same as the old R15, like mine, I personally love the colour, don't care much for the graphics though, the colour is also very similar to the one used on the R6, it will turn more heads also.

              Congrats! enjoy
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

                  Thanks buddy!

Yep, it resembles the older R15, also somewhat similar to the "Lava Red" FZ color.

She looks nice to me, so I have her under!

Anyways, it was the machine that mattered!

I'll prefer Ms. Alba in a Burkha as well as a Saree, the performance when required is what matters!

Well this the only reason i booked the black colour. The fibre has a black base coat & even the smallest of the scratch gets evident on any other colour. Well stripes will look good but it should extend from the front to back then only it will look good.

                            • Some serious consideration needed.

                              Hi Experts,
                              Done with my 1st r15 v2 servicing.

                              Problems faced after that.
                              1. Chain noise....hissssss( continuous ).... Clearly audible at nights without helmet on ...as u dnt have ur ears covered.
Comparing the noise with the smooth ride be4 servicing

                              2. This one seems serious...the right fairing heats up.
I didn't notice heating problem till my servicing. Now the right side heats up In a strange manner. Left side is all cool...???? Weird ..very weird.
1'st servicing undergoes a coolant change right???
So is there any chance of coolant screwed up??? . Is the coolant divided in left and right zone?
And left being with less coolant...? I have no idea so plainly guessing.
One probable reason for heating of any bike engine is oil leakage.my zma had this problem...the oil used to leak and heat up sending fumes all around the bike tank.

                              Please help
