Well, you should not do that.
Do not do high gears on very low rpms. I mean 5 is fine but 3.5 no.

Sixth gear is actually offered for cruising on high speeds particularly in a highway trip scenerio. It is not there for city riding.

Why the bike doesn't offer resistance, well, i think as r15 is r15 , may be as it does not have a lot of low end torque.

Do you have a friend's pulsar, try doing a 5th gear on less then 4 rpm on that bike. You should get your answer.

Oh.k Not sure about the pulsar since my last bike was a Unicorn and that was pretty decent at low rpm shifts... So best to shift up to fifth around 4k rpm but for sixth 5k rpm? Sorry I'm just worried about ruining the run in.

Well during run-in, you should have each gear go around all possible rpm combinations possible. To properly break in the engine.

6th around 4-5 is good for now.
And after first service, i don't think you would ever change 6th during that area.

I mean you must be aware for R15 it is a little tricky affair unlike our regular bikes and should not be done unless fully educated.

Tell the SC guys that as well.

Ohk, keep us posted on the progress. I guess they should change it as it seems to me, a manufacturing defect if not a side effect of chain tuning gone wrong.

            Hope the best.
No , a local mechanic, the one who has done all my jobs on my p220 has done the job. I guess he has already worked on the new R15 much more than the svc guys here....
I went to svc and told them about the problem. It was around 11 am . The head said to bring the bike by 2.30 pm so some mechanics will be free by the time. As I had college afternoon, I will need to check in another day...
Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

Hmm, just make a point to call them up prior next time.
Do not delay else you always have option of changing to Joel's chain Sprocket. . JFF.

'Sir' , c'mon am not that old.
roots require around 4-5 A if am right while our battery is 3.5 A.

My horn goes half dead when full beams are on.

                            So, the answer is no.

Anyway you would have to upgrade the battery for that.
Maintainance free Amaron 5 A batteries are there, i heard someone using upto 9 A as well but that would require to ride in high revs to keep it charging.

This horn is atleast better than version one . I'll check next time am in market for a in-range horn but IMO this one is loud enough.
