Anyone joining the GIR guys, they are here in Pune on Sunday but I have a working weekend.
Have done few 400+ One day rides on the machine and it would never let you down.Originally posted by discover View Postcan R15 V2 be used for touring?.. Can someone share their experience whether it suits the long rides like 300 - 500 kms.. I have booked R15 v2 a month back.. i would be using it for both city riding and touring...
As long as the roads are smooth, its fantastic.
If you are in offroad mode, then it could be painful for your body.
Else its fun on the highway.
Ride On,
Akshat

1.Please Check for the proper fit and finish of the stickers in the tank. My bike (same edition/colour) has a minute defect. When closely observed a small strip of sticker has a kind of air bubble.Originally posted by Shaan Athani View Postwill be going to take delivery of my bike tomorrow evening

Yep. Guru, I changed it on your suggestion, and it felt better.Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostWell actually the first few hundreds of KM cause the most of the shedding in of sharpnels... Oil filters are not designed to take care of hot-moving-sharpnels... its designed to take care of residue... Its only advisable that you change the oil+filter in the first few hundred KMs.
Remember Oil+Filter is cheaper than a scored engine!

I completely agree..!
This bike is damn fun touring for single rider.. I generally ride Pulsar 180 during weekdays & take out this babe for fun ride on highways on weekends..
The moment I switch to this bike, I feel like gaining extra wings to fly low.
The real fun is within city traffic to beat vehicles with swift & killer moves, this leaves other bikers blank.
I just love the bike handling 'What you can do with this bike, you cant do with any other bike'...
You will surely enjoy this Jet!
