I can completely understand what you are going through. It was the same until yesterday i got a call from the dealer telling me i need to make the rest of payment & after completion of the loan formalities i will get the bike. It's like just 2weeks more. But damn i won't be able to make the rest of the payment, me being out of Mumbai.
Well by the way where did you book your bike & how many days waiting has he told?

Booked it from Kamla Yamaha chembur .. way act you .. he has told a minimum of 45 - 60 days.. way was the wait period for you ?? .. and how did u go through the loan formalities .. even i wud be getting finance.. but the representative looks least bothered now .. may be because of the wait period or its just that i am a bit impatient .....

Well i also got from Kamla Yamaha but Lower Parel branch. I was told the waiting period to be 60-75 days but got a call in 30 days. Well i haven't yet gone through the loan formalities. Don't worry they will call you when the order gets dispatched. They will call & tell you to complete your formalities. You can go through ownership experiences & things you want to do with your bike. I went day dreaming so many times

. Just be patient & you will have your turn to flaunt your baby.

R15 2.0 Prices up

I got a call from the dealer of Yamaha & he told that due to increase in sales tax & octroi , the price went up by 2400/- Rs.

ohh great u gt a call in 30 days .. but need to appreciate the patience ..

.... will be goin through a lot of ownership till i get a call frm the dealer ...

Dude has the price increases all over india?? im from hyderabad so do you have any idea about price hike in hyderabad? the earlier on road price was 1,23,000.. do you think it has increased? if yes then how much?

Thanks Yatish. I got my tank pad from Orion Motors, Bangalore. You can also order it online from Keiti Yamaha Clear Tankpad TYM-309C - 900.00Rs. The code is TYM309C - Keiti.

Trust me, the waiting period is a nightmare. You try to get the bike out of your mind and then you see an R15V2 on the road and you are back to square one. Restless as ever. I bugged my sales lady every other day with a follow up phone call!

AFAIK Ex showroom cost across India is 1.09 lacs. 2% of this would be arnd INR 2.2k. So the OTR increase would be approx 2.5k
