If the yellow light has stopped bleeping, then nothing has happened to your engine. Ride worry free. R15's engine is one of the toughest and best engines available in India. So be assured.

As per the fairing, you can change them, but keep in mind sometimes special edition fairings take a longer time for delivery than the usual ones if not already in stock.

Worry about the bruises that you got !!! Ride hard and ride safe !!!

Nothing is a noob question in this forum.

Coming back to your question, you can surely rev the engine to 4-5k rpm in all the gears. During the engine break-in period follow as per the manual:

        1. For first 500 kms, try to rev the engine to 4-5k rpm in all the gears.
        2. For the next 500 kms i.e. 500-1000 kms in the ODO or till the 1st service, you can go till 6k rpm in all the gears.

Riding in the city will be your best bet to follow these instructions. Also, if you want, you can/may try some speed bursts, once or twice, revving the engine till 7-8k rpm, keeping in mind that it is not prolonged.

For the next 2000 kms i.e 1000-3000 kms in the ODO and after the 1st service, you can/may restrict your engine till 8k rpm. After the 2nd service, rev your bike as you want as the break-in is almost complete, though it will continue till 4000-5000 kms in the ODO, but very minutely.

Hope this helps! Ride safe !!!

I was exactly referring to speedo sensor only broThe speedo cable is directly connected to sensor, it will immediately pop up when there is a improper connection or even if speedo doesn't work . Which is why I was checking whether you are facing that problem

Can you explain actually what you want to change/mod on the bike rather than posting random stuff like this..
Members here would help you then in a better way.

                Ride safe and have fun.

Just wondering if any of you guys have changed the banjo bolt for the brake hoses before. Wondering if the item in the link below will fit. Anyone?

Is that recommended to use rust/corrosion penetrant spray in disc plate? Annoyed looking at the disc plate is getting rusted (not much though):banghead:
has anyway that spoil the friction of disc pad?

only you'd know that dude..has it in anyway reduced the braking power/efficiency compared to before ?

a little rust here and there i dont think does anything negative...metal's got to rust a bit anyhow...only when it's rusting quite a lot is the time one needs to worry about and change the thing.

Hey guys, when i rev my engine beyond 3-3.5k i get a strange feeling(vibes, dont know how to express it but the engine feels like its stressed out)

This doesn't happens in top gear, does this happen in new bike? As i have rarely gone beyond 3-4k rpm in rest of the gears except 6th..

Nope dude I haven't tried yet, suspect the spray has got some sticky moisture when its completely wet
Yes we need to get going with little things as they are not gonna do more damage & moreover the rust is not that much like I mentioned in the last post....

This could possibly due to tappet rocker.. Is your ODO is below 6k?

And please keep ripping the tacho touching over 6k rpm post 2nd gear. unless your bike hasn't get passed the run- in period
