Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
It shouldnt creep in too often, though it could depend on your riding style. My case is, I could only hear it when the rev builds up.Originally posted by Suresh@yammie View PostRide, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Hello guys would that be possible to get the brake master cylinder with the adjustable brake lever, like the below one.
I was happen to sat in 2010 R1 of a buddy who is nearby my street but didn't try to ride the big R though (nerves & not very confident) he says to push it through couple of metres with first gear on
. then I seriously thought why baby R worth the money we spend as it absolutely took almost entire dynamics and posture from its International monster sibling, Since then I was just thinking about the one thingthat popped up in my mind is the master kit of R1, No words to describe about that:what: By then I found the below one from Daytona,
What would be the cost?
PS: No need of rotar petal Disc
Cheers

Afaik, it comes as a pack, including Rotor petal, mass cylinder unit, adjustable brake lever, caliper mount bracket and steel braided lines and cannot be purchased separately. Things might have changed now, am not sure.Originally posted by Suresh@yammie View PostHello guys would that be possible to get the brake master cylinder with the adjustable brake lever, like the below one.

Even I'm not sure whether need to get a whole assemblyOriginally posted by Ivin View PostAfaik, it comes as a pack, including Rotor petal, mass cylinder unit, adjustable brake lever, caliper mount bracket and steel braided lines and cannot be purchased separately. & yes it costs 25k, anyways let me check with some big ASC notably very couple in Chennai
But no plan of going for such an expensive one unless its just a cylinder and a lever Otherwise happy to hang in with the stock assembly & its beautiful too

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Got valve clearance adjusted to just above 0.20mm gap. The difference that I felt is, the tappet noise obviously disappeared. The minute knocking in some gears is gone. Bike has become even more silent. Power delivery in each gears also feels smooth. (These are my observations. I maybe wrong) I will try to get some pics of the same. My mech has it. Need to take it from his phone. Will update soon

You gave it at SVC or your mech?? Am really scared to give my bike to SVC for tappet adjustment.. Read many cases here where they spoiled the ride by keeping wrong clearanceOriginally posted by Ivin View PostGot valve clearance adjusted to just above 0.20mm gap. Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
What to do when you got 5 year warranty and you ride only 400-500 kms from service to service. Is it safe to start planning your services on your own. I know warranty will be dead then.

I gave the bike to them for a full 2 days to adjust valve clearance(an year ago) and the 3rd day when I went to take the bike, they said that there's no tappet sound to adjust valve clearance. Lazy creatures.Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Guys I came across this one from one of ebay seller through
Whats app....
"Hello sir. This msg is to inform u that i,Dhananjay More have started with the official dealership of ''xtreme fuel treatment '' which is recently introduced to the Indian market (20yrs with the U.S.A)
It is a fuel additive which when added to petrol/diesel in ur bike /car/bus/truck/ ship/(as a Matter of fact any vehicle or even generators which work on fuel) increases the fuel economy by 15-20% in subsequent 2-3 treatments. Some other advantages are
1) combustion catalyst -burns the 'complete ' fuel. (Reduced emissions)
2)demulsifier- separates water from fuel. (Got a fuel pump in ur bike? I've got a solution for its optimum use.)
3)Detergents -removing harmful deposits from the fuel pump
4) lubricants -engine life is prolonged as friction is reduced and pistons are well lubricated.
5) fuel stabilizer - prolongs the life of stored fuel
6) polymerization retardant & dipersants- reduced sludge build up
7) rust and corrosion inhibitors -prevents corrosion and rust formation by oxidation & condensation.
This fuel additive is a combination of all the above. I have tried and tested the product and am refering it to u on the basis of the good experience I have with it.
I would request u to please visit my website
to purchase the product.
purchase the bottle containing 30ml of the liquid as it is sold at a reasonable price. It is the cheapest and the most effective fuel additive out there in the market
Just 1ml of it treats 10 litres.
That means u hardly spend Rs 3 per litre and get all the benefits listed above. Buy today and start using it at the earliest. Recommend it to ur friends as u r going to like it.If there is any information needed, text or call me back. Thank you."
what's your take on this?
cheers
