Yamaha logo will be available in ASC for sure. But I am not very sure on 50th year anniversary sticker, Most likely you may have to place an order to them

1. Was there any engine work done after 15k? If yes, then what work in details?
2. What engine oil you're using?
3. How you ride your bike normally?
4. How have you ridden your bike in between 15k and 20k kms?
5. How is the engine sound? Is it like the engine is suffering?
6. Are you having engine start problem?

Give us as much information you can, if I missed any part include that also, and in as much detailed way. It will help us in guessing the problem and suggest you the correct way out.

Hello Arnab,
I got busy with other tasks and could not reply. In between my bike was serviced but issues were there still. I changed the tyres. Since they are punctured many times. I could not get the stock tyres. So I took Michelin tyres. Rear tyre is of same spec. But the front profile got increased by 10mm. The only engine work done is at 18K, that to bore change. I use yamaha lube synthetic oil. Since 15K my bike doesn't rev much it reaches 70 and later no further growth as easily it used to previously.
No engine noise after the bore change. Throttle response is uneven. So is the clutch.
I have a question the change in the front tyre profile will have any affect on the AFR. I mean the minimum space of 20mm.
I think I have to check:
Chain sprocket
Tyre profile impact
ECU check
Clutch and throttle issues.

Could you please suggest me any other checks?

a question to those who are using motul 300v FS oil (cant remember if the same question has been asked before) - R15's manual says the engine oil grade be 20w40 or 20w50. but the 300v comes as 10w40 or 15w50 but not 20w40/50 right ?
asking because i thought i'd be changing to 300v after 1000 or so more kms when oil refilling will be due. but just now noticed that 300v doesnt come in the same grade as the manual prescribed oil grade, hence the question.

----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

finally got off my lazy ass and went down to the city to find and buy some polish/wax and also ask around any of so many car and bike shops in that area whether they sell motul's oil products, projector headlamps and so on..
couldn't find motomax or waxpol in some shops that i asked, so finally went to a nice car accessories shop who had formula1, 3M, magsol etc but again no motomax or waxpol...3M and formula1 were very costly so bought shampoo, liquid wax and dashboard polish of this brand called magsol, only slightly costlier than motomax's..it's actually for cars and not bike, but as far as exterior goes, i figure cars and bikes have the same type of dashboard material, same kind of fibre/plastic parts etc, so whatever (??)...polished the bike later on for the first time in the 8 months that i have had it and the thing is shining like it's just a few days old (i had been really neglecting its outer shine and cleanliness/spotfreeness to the minute/microscopic level for at least 5-6 months and it had developed a lot of tiny hard spots (the dashboard had become particularly dirty looking) and all that is gone now and now am wondering why was i being so lazy about it :-)), and the surface feels so much smoother.

question - what to use on those plastic fairings ? liquid wax or dashboard polish ? i went ahead and used liquid wax on fairings today, as i thought that's what i read on the internet, but the bottle had a precaution saying not to use it on plastic and vinyl parts, and fairings are plastic.

more importantly, surprisingly enough i found 2-3 places in the same area that sell motul's oil products, including FS (300v)..didnt buy it today on account of the sudden notice of it not being 20w40/50 which left me in doubt, as mentioned in the last post of mine.

In xxW50, xx doesnt matter... Infact if its lower, the oil will circulate better during cold start.. So go ahead with 15w50 300v. Am using it for over 7k + kms. No issues

yeah i know that but was just being a bit hesitant about straying away from what the manual recommends about something so important (and internal) as motor oil when i noticed 300v doesnt come in 20w40/50...so just wanted to re-confirm of its grade...thanks,

aditya: I think if you ask , most of us using 300v fs... 15w50 could well be compensated with what manual says. Just go for it, 300v is best suited for R15 & its racing Instinct

Cheers

Nothing to be compensated in regard with 15W50 because the oil Yamaha ASC use for R15 is Yamalube SS 15W50

Certainly this picture hasn't look to increase the level of confidence, but to decrease the level of overconfidence.
