A DIY will require a center/ paddock stand, which neither shreyas nor I have currently.

Dont know if you will be willing enough to try the method i use to raise the back-end of the bike when i clean & lube my chain. Its good enough if you know what you are doing. I use a pair of car jacks and DO IT MYSELF.

@DrVenom: that's a brilliant idea. But I assume, you're pivoting it at the points reserved for the centre stand. If thats the case then its outright risky. Do clarify,Sir.

rx 135 stand fits perfect.costs 190 and is very easy to fix and remove.

Guys, does anyone know about Yamaha Protection Plan (3 years warranty extend)?
Is it Worth or not ?

I am a new owner of sunset-red r15 v2.0
I have been following this forum since my research period and it has definitely helped me prepare to be a better owner of this awesome bike! Finally after a month of waiting time after booking the bike, I got my hands on this machine and this is just a magnificent piece of machinery; smooth, awesome looks and amazing performance.

Here are couple pictures and don't mind the red number plate, its because I am from Nepal, but thank you all for the posts and heads up, and I will definitely share my experiences here.

The price is in between Rs 700 to 800 for the plan and there are around 140+ parts which will come under the warranty but there are some conditions what i got to know from the showroom guy, like :
1. you have to buy this within 3 months of the purchase of the bike.
2. All services must be completed at the correct time as per the IYM warranty period and during this protection plan period.

I dont know is it worth or not, so if anyone have purchased this plan so please guide us.

Thats it. Now u can clean the chain , lube the chain, adjust slackness,check for rim bend etc .
To remove ,place the bike on side stand and jus pull the rod.I guess its very evident in the pics itself
