Payment done for Limited Version, 1,23,526 INR.
It took time as it was the first one to be sold in Pune, they were still calculating how much it should cost.

Going to showroom to bring it home.

1,23,526 INR is low compared to bangalore

almost 7k less

looks like i have to sing "why this kolavari" to the tax in bangalore :P

How much does the sprocket last on the 220 ? Cause I did 20K kms on my R15
One more aspect I missed is FE, I used to get 35 on the 220 and 45 on the R15

Well I am on 10000+ kms mark now on the odo and the chain sprockets are still good as new.. Let's see how long it lasts..

Regarding FE, well I believe you had the 6 jet P220.. Those had poor FE, won't deny that.. The new ones are 5 jet and so is mine.. In city I used to get around 48-50 kmpl during running in and on highways {I used to cruise at 60-65 (around 4k mark on odo)} I used to get FE around 55 kmpl.. yes I know its shocking but I used to get it.. After I crossed the 1500 kms mark on the odo I re-tuned my ride and tuned it a little rich according to my riding preference as I hit highways a lot and whenever I hit the highways, I prefer 3 digits on my speedo

. Now I get around 39-40 kmpl (highway) and in city I get around 42kmpl.. Many owners from P220 ownership thread get FE around 40-45..

But if you say the new R15s deliver 45kmpl then 1 word... wow!

Also since you switched over from P220 dtsi to R15 v 2.0, you will be the best person to tell me about this. Can you please tell me your areas of disappointment and appreciation..

1,30... and 1,24... for the New R15

I thought Chennai rate would be higher.. But surprisingly got my red n white for 1,21... On Road abt 10 days ago.. Full cash payment

Hi Guys,

Got hold of some carbon fiber vinyl and did some cosmetic mods to my Baby R. There is still room for improvement as this is the first time I did it.

i ll do the same when i get mine.... that tyre hugger looks better now

a pic with the whole bike visible would be better

in a broad daylight.
