If it is tank pads you are talking of, you can get clear tank pads (Keiti) at Orion Motors. There is also a store by the name Tirumala Enterprises at Double road/ Lalbag road junction. I got mine @ Rs.1k.
You can also order online at planetdsg and PRS.

Yamaha also has got tankpads of its own, no clear ones though.

            • Planning a trip to Shimla from Delhi.

              Hi All,

I am planning a trip to Shimla from Delhi on R15. Just wanted to ask how is traffic from Kalka to Shimla, would roads be clear enough to enjoy the ride?

              Thanks in advance..

              • Redline!

Again I went on a 162 kms roundtrip, just because I wanted to ride her!

On the way back, tried revving her harder.

The exhaust note changed at 5.5- 6 K, and again a change was noticed at 9 K.
It was simply amazing, esp. the post 9 K till 10.5 K.
Took her close to 10.5 K on 4th and 5th a couple of times.

                IIRC, I hit 130 on 6th at around 9- 9.5 K.

I think there's some problem with the pattern of my acceleration, as once I noticed no more throttle left at ~125 kmph on top gear.

But, yeah, taking long turns at 110-120 were a breeze!

NH-8, beautiful road, empty as well.

                • Something I noticed while riding....

                  Hi all,

when I am riding most of the time engine is smooth (some vibrations but overall very smooth). But sometimes engines feels quite harsh and if I stop for 1-2 min and then continue riding, engine becomes very smooth...

                  what could be causing this....?

Anyone else facing the same issue...?

Yes, you can seat a pillion on a tour. Provided, the pillion seats are either modified with extra cushioning either with a foam layer or he/she is using a towel or an airbag to sit.

Depends on what traditional wear you speak of. If its the saree, then is a strict no no. Anything else (like the salwar, leggings, etc) will do just fine.

                          Nope. Not at all.

I like that. But its necessary only on a track.

And Teejay, yeah the WGP comes with a tank pad and a superb one it is. Has come really handy so far. Incase you wish to get the same, then its worth Rs462\- only and is available on across all dealers.

i don think so, i have felt the need for it for daily use. when ever we brake we tend to come front little and when a pillion is there its much more needed.

and @TeeJayy ya its also called stompgrip. are you serious you didnt know about the WGP edition coming with tank pad
