R15 uses tyres made of soft rubber. This offers much better grip than regular tyres. Also it is generally preferable to retain the stock tyres, because they were chosen specifically for the R15.Originally posted by drlohith View Post

Well from what i have observed the Le stickers are different but the sunset red & black is the same, the blue is very different. I infact liked the stickering on the blue one as it covered the area where we grab with our thighs & its more prone to get scratches. Same in LE white redOriginally posted by rcazador View Postr_c111, congratz, it looks great, as usual. Its interesting how each color has a different set of stickers.

Hi Guys, I am planning to buy Yamaha R15 V2. Alka Yamaha from Airoli,Navi Mumbai has quoted Rs.124000/- OTR, has asked for down payment of Rs.45000/- and rest amount on EMI at 12.5% P.A. They said with above data, the EMI will be 4682/- for 24 months and 3434/- for 36 months.Their calculation seems wrong to me. How is it possible? I have calculated EMI on many online websites but the value I get is way below of what Alka Yamah have calculated. Moreover even GANESH YAMAHA from Vikhroli,Mumbai have done some wrong calculation. Kindly let me know are they really wrong or am I making a mistake somewhere.
I have already paid 20k as advance to Alka yamaha

in the first EMI option { 4682/- for 24 months} the total interest will be 25% as its 12.5 % P.a. , so thats 31000 R.s more. so the total will be 1,55,000/-Originally posted by chiragsthakur View PostHi Guys, I am planning to buy Yamaha R15 V2. . am i right? if yes correct then i think they are giving the correct cal. better go for 12 months option.
but my ultimate suggestion will be go for full payment at once. worry free option
or else pay more downpayment and go for 12 months emi, it will cost u lesser
dont forget that dealers give you the options which will make them more money
