        • Gave the bike for servicing today. There was couple of bent radiator fins, told it to the svc guy he said its not a big deal but i m still worried. Complete one month and 450kms on the odo. My second oil & oil filter change. Nothing more, will lube the chain myself.
Update : The svc guy called in the evening saying the bike is ready but i was outside so will go tomorrow to take the bike. Wanted to change the headlamps but have invested money somewhere else so will have to save money again.

Not every bike will give the same mileage bro, 35-40 range is a decent mileage . 4Th service ?? how much on the odo?? Since how long have you been experiencing this problem? Can u elaborate on the vibration, like at what rpm do u face those vibrations, the feel of the engine ,engine noise ,Handle bar foot pegs ? etc
              Try Bangalore wheels for service.

                • Hello every one!!

Recently i am experiencing a new problem... whenever i take my ride out.. she responds super smooth in the initial stages and as km's goes on i feel little harshness from the engine.. What might be the problem?

Later i checked my coolant level and it was near to the MIN level... just few weeks back i gave my ride to the first service... i think they wouldn't have topped up the coolant.. is this has any connection with the harshness of the engine???

If so kindly please someone post the photos of how to add the coolant to the coolant reservoir..i know its beneath the carbon fiber look like thing on the left but how to get there?

Although this one is for an enfield, a lot can be followed from here. This has been answered quite a number of time in this thread too before.

It also depends on the petrol bunk and the riding style.
My R15 v2 gave about 43 at shell and about 38 when switched to bharath.
Try filling petrol at the same station as your friend fills and check the mileage...

                            • Hi Guys,
Done with 3K ODO and 2nd servicing. Happy as always with my baby R15.
Had issues with intial gears to cross even 3 rpm, told the SVC guys about that and has been solved with per satisfaction .
The coolant level is nearing the MIN mark, although didn't touch it. SVC guys told that no need to top-up now, can be waited for some more days.

One concern, in the 2nd servicing they didn't change the oil filter though the engine oil is changed. It was changed during the 1st servicing(400 ODO).
Please let me know if I should get it changed on 3K ODO or can wait til some more time?

                              Thanks in advance

                              • Hey guys!
I recently decided to buy a new bike and have completely fallen for the R15...I am researching extensively about the bike and after reading the ownership reviews and posts I'm convinced I've made the right choice, just had a few questions!
                                • Which is the best and reliable authorised service station in Pune?
                                • Should I change the oil filter every time I change the oil?
                                • What rpm should i maintain till the 'run-in' period of the bike is complete?
                                • Should I constantly keep changing gears even if there's no need till the 'run-in' completes?

                                Thank-You in advance!
