Congrats!
You are one lucky guy out there. I've been waiting for the last 3 months and still it is not sure, if I can get her soon or not. Regarding the run-in, you have got your answer. Just try for an oil+oil filter change after 100-200 kms.Originally posted by AJSAM92 View PostHello Guys :-)

. . .
Regards
AJ
P.S: This is not a standard procedure, but I've read it in the posts earlier.Money can get a 1942 BSA these days, but even Warren Buffet's whole Bank account can't get us our leg back!

Thanks for the advice guys
@shreyassave
Ya Im really Glad that it will reach me within a week of booking. Many Outlets here in Chennai have Stock of R15 most of the time nowadays. Ive enquired in a few showrooms.. For a Full cash payment they are ready to give the delivery within 3-4 days. But the problem I faced was that I couldnt get the Blue one. Only the Red and black ones were in stock

Did you find the reserve knob in V2, would like to see that if you can share the snap as V1 doesnt have the knob man.Originally posted by mskr View Postyeah, this is the reason i tested my r15 millage tank full --- to --- tank full
Just kidding
By the way i come to know something which i would like to share with you all, simple yet logical every 9-10000 kms, when you do your servicing check your electrical with the meter from authorized showroom and ensure power reaches all end points without any disturbances and there is no leakages involved, also check the rubber bushes and engine bolts every alternate servicing
Happy reviing

Yes no reserve F
I do agree that best way to check mileage is to reset trip meter as soon as you see on your display and then fill the tank with X liter and note the reading when it hit reserve again and do the calculation.
As per this calculation my V2 (Run in) is giving mileage of 50 at highway and around 42-44 (combined highway and city). I am still keeping it below 5000 RPM and using all 6 gears changing between 4100 -4500 RPM

My wants list is HUGE:Originally posted by burninrubbr View Post^^ What are you looking for ?
My ride consists of zero highway driving and I hate people sitting on my bike,in my absence. So an R15 would draw hell of a lot of attention.Pillion riding will be very inconvenient,specially for my mom and gf? Firstly,I want something having very good quality which I can keep easily for 5 years,without getting rusted parts. Love Yammies for the monoshocks and wide tyres. Bajaj bikes get rusted very easily,although I take extreme care of my bike. How are the charges for servicing and parts of R15 and FZ? Any rumours about Yamaha updating the FZ?
I want stunning looks,about 45-50 mileage,fat rubber,dual horns and long lasting parts.
