    • Finally I got my bike after 28 of booking. A red one.

First of all - The lights are useless right now, how to fix them ?

Then - I used to ride a pulsar all these days, having some problem with the seating posture, so any advice for this ?

      Help will be appreciated.

      Thanks.

Are you talking about light focus here ?
About posture, try to be relaxed and not in a aggressive stance for starting days and use a wrist band for few days if the wrist hurts.

Try to go on long drives as much as possible...Our backs get used to it..After 1000kms I never felt any back pain neither in city nor on trips...wrist pain I never had right from the start probably because I wear gloves all the time...Try doing suryanamaskar exercise..It mitigates bodyaches a lot...
PS: After you get used to this, drive pulsar...You will surely have problem with seating posture on pulsar then...

            • @dr venom - well i am confused and i would request you to tell me, who or which brochure said you to replace the oil in first 150 kms firstly?

Secondly, do you think that after changing the oil and oil filter after 150 kms you can rev up the bike till 7500 rpms ? If yes than my friend you are wrong here, as you are toasting the engine.

Let the bike run smoothly and its not recommended to switch from SS to mineral atleast while you are doing the runnin in of the bike.

@ psycho - it seems you have not read the owners manual, try the setting given , if not contact navneesh nagesh for projector based hid

Hey man...! Nothing about who or which brochure...I simply am breaking-in than running-in... So the above mentioned oil changes... I am not saying that this is an ideal method, or should be followed by others... Not here to debate on which is correct or which is wrong... Just typing down on what is going on in my biking life...

And any pointers i had mentioned earlier, was just a suggestion...and not meant to misdirect anyone... A suggestion can taken or turned down right...?? TO ONES OWN WISH...!!

                        Thanks for telling though...!

I gave a thought too...and determined that 'I feel naked to ride a naked bike, (If I were to compared in terms of Driving experience its like Omni vs. Cedia/Laura with full flesh) I am used to bike with some flesh, Duke is only about performance on Indian roads.. Style is compromised to a large extend (few people still like though), When I see a Duke I think of Dirt bike which is creation of Local Mechanic's.. only diff is its an Australian Brand - KTM with some international finishing to a localized concept'.. No offense, its just my perception..

A good rider is one who looks at both side of the road, even on One way!
