Can I remove the visor and fit it or should I take it to the svc centre?

All you need to take the visor off is the big allen key provided with the bike's tool kit. Easily doable yourself.

This is the kraftewerk universal paddock stand sold by dsg.

Also, I'm thinking about doing stuff like chain cleaning, lubing, and changing engine oil by myself from now on. Anything specific that I should keep in mind while doing these? And what are the stuff that I must do when I service the bike.

Btw, bike has done 5.5k kms so far, which means the next service is due just 500 kms from now on.

Can we lift the bike with a paddock stand? I thought it didn't have a facility for that. I ended up buying an RX-135 main stand to do it. Even the Manual says to use 2 car jacks and put then on either side of the bike n lift it.

Hey guys I need some help. I found "this" hanging from the throttle cable. What exactly is "this" -

"It" kept scratching the fairing everytime I turned the handlebars so I just fixed "it" like this as of now since I have a ride tomorrow morning. Is this the correct way by any chance?

Well I have used my friend's Rjays universal paddock stand to lift my bike and it did lift. I didn't even use spools.

No that is not the correct way. There needs to be a screw in the small hole to hold the cables. Take it to a mech and he'll do it in 2 mins..

Very well, I will take a pic next time when I use it. The last time I used that paddock, I cleaned and lubed the chain, there was no problem, the bike didn't shake or move.

Guys, Just a small doubt..! I keep getting vibrations and noise from the windshield area as RPM ranges from 3k to 4k! Is this normal because the ride is real smooth on other RPM ranges and by the way, my ride is due for the First Service pretty soon... now at 900kms on the odo... Just wanted to ask your opinion whether to give the bike to the SVC or do the required things manually because i've heard lot of info that they just spray water all over, do some cleaning, top up the oil aaand done!! So what do i do???

Yeah I saw that, but you mentioned higher rev's right? It's 3-4k rpm here! Anyways, will check the visor soon! well, regarding the first service?

Had a weird experience a few days back, I accidentally touched the clutch cable/adjustment screw when trying to adjust the rubber flap that moved around while the bike was on, and I felt a mild electric shock . Is this normal? The engine wasn't running just the ignition was on(kill switch was on too).

An electric shock..? from a 12V DC battery?? well, why don't you give it another try just to confirm that it was an electric shock

                                Need your valuable help, guys!!!!
I've decided not to go to the svc for the 1st service due to various inputs from customers whose bike's have been turning worse since being given there People doubt that they aren't changing but topping up the engine oil, spraying water all over, not lubing the chain etc etc..!!

I would like to know what to do if i want to do things by myself... Guys, please do let me know what to Replace/Take care of after the first 1000kms!!! Would really appreciate your inputs!!!
