Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0

    Sorry for bad pic and the pic rotated when i uploaded...

    This is the brake fluid i removed from my front brake... Its dot 4 right??? Its just 7K on ODO and see how the color has changed from transparent to golden brown.. Flushed the whole Fluid with new Dot 4. Now Brake lever rattling has gone and It Bites like a CROC xD

      I though Dot 4 is of golden color and Dot 3 Transparent, When i found low level at 6k kms, i filled with Dot3. its good.

        No No. Dot 3 is dark red in color while Dot 4 is kinda colorless.

            Urgent Help Needed Guys!

            Today I was looking for my bike keys and I searched my whole house. Couldn't find them. I went and checked on my bike and there it was on my bike in ignition.

            Worst Case, the key was ignition ON position and was the same way for last 3 days :|. I turned the switching the key to OFF and the ON position multiple times, the bike wont start.

            I was really stupid to leave the keys on the bike and feeling guilty already (Could've been stolen). On the top of that the bike isn't starting now. Feeling Miserable as it is.

            I really need your help guys. Did I drain out the battery? Or is it some other problem? How to start the bike?. I have taken off the keys from the bike and it is with me now.


            Should I let th battery charge for 1-2 days and check then?

              Try jump starting it bro. Put the vehicle in gear and press the clutch and push your bike and leave the clutch and give throttle as you leave the clutch the bike will start.

                omg lol, how did anyone not see a free, ready for steal R15 v2 parked outside ??? even that for 3 full days.

                  Yes, keeping the key on for that long had drained your battery, to start the bike you can try jump starting it.
                  You don't need to charge the battery for 1-2 days. Open the side panels, disconnect the battery and just take it to the battery guys, couple of hours charging will make it stable again and then it shall continue to charge normally while you ride.

                      Yeah i've done that too. I left it on for 10 days :-P
                      Don't worry its not a big problem, your battery has got discharged. No need to take out the battery and get it charged (which btw needs a special charger).

                      Just get on the bike put it second gear and with the clutch pulled in ask someone to push the bike from behind.
                      Once the bike has gathered some speed let out the clutch. Hopefully the bike should start.
                      Once its started go for a long ride and make sure you keep the revs high. That should get enough charge into the battery.
                      Thats it! (FYI, you can also push start the bike yourself)

                          Oh Yes, Dot 3 is of Dark Red color.

                          I went for 5th Service with 9500 kms on ODO, i did all Servicing quite few days early.

                          Here is My Ride getting Soak after Bath. The camera by default made it Pinki.
