Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Hello friends,
I am not a R15 owner but interested in Owners Manual of R15 version 2.0. I have tried searching online and in this thread as well but could not find any copy of Owners Manual; only service manual of version 1.0. Can anyone post the link to Owners Manual of R15 version 2.0?
If not, can anyone post the rim width size, front and rear for v2?

R15 V 2.0, Noise while shifting gear
Hello everyone
I own a R15 V2.0. I bought the bike when it was released, up until last 4 months i have not faced any problems in a serious manner, but now i am facing a problem with my bike, while shifting between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears i hear a very loud noise while shifting, this situation arises randomly and it settles down all by itself, i can not say when exactly this comes up, i have the clutch engaged properly still the noise comes, it comes while i am at speed and shifting very fast, but it comes at random instances.
The noise is only between these 3 gears, i use only YAMAHA preferred ENGINE OIL, which BTW if anybody can suggest me anything else which is better than that it would be good, and i have tried to reset the gear lever, not working at all.
So now i have had it, if any one is facing same kind of problem with their R15 lemme know..
And oh yes.. pls do give suggestions regarding this problem..
Happy Riding

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
A bad news for r15 v2 guys who are hard braking types the prices of the brake pads have touched sky high changed my rear pad for the 2nd time and front for the 4th time shelled out aproximately 1900 bucks so guys who run out of brake pads regularly will need to shell out more for their beauties
Cheers

my rear pad is nearly worn out (7.5k km) and I enquired about the peg feeler( screw under foot peg to scrape). They quoted me 126 bucks!! I was like wtf!!! 126 for that tiny rod :banghead:
