The SVC guys should check the level every service but you can't depend on them. You can easily check it yourself: on the left side of the bike with your knees on the ground look beneath the frame you will notice a white plastic coolant reservoir just behind the frame with the coolant level markings on it.
    Thanks..
I actually looked at that white reservior.. And it looked like there was only something at the bottom.. Thats why i asked..
Maybe the level is low.. Will check for sure tomorrow..

    Ride safe and have fun.

Its 15k on the odo now. I had given my bike for service at 14300 kms it was giving a good mileage of 45kmpl worst case was 40kmpl, before the service bike was switching off while moving at slow speeds with the clutch pulled.. i had got this included in the job card.. now the problem has been rectified but mileage has suddenly dropped below 30kmpl, what could he have done to rectify it?? are there any chances that the Air-Fuel ratio is changed?
when the bike is in idle the engine doesnt sound like before.. i feel its running faster but idle rpm is 1.2k..
suggest me something.. i ride around 70 kms a day.. 25-30kmpl is really not managable

If yes then all you need is a no.5 allen key and a no. 10 ring spanner
Use the spanner to open the bolts that hold the saree guard ti the tip of the swingarm near the chain adjuster
Then using the allen key open the 3 hexagonal bolts retaining the tyre hugger to the swing arm then the entire saree guard and hugger fixed structure can be removed as a single piece then if you want to make it into two piece or separate the saree guard from hugger just take a knife and heat it till it becomes red hot and cut at the point where the saree guard meets the hugger it should come out neatly morever the saree guard can later be reinstalled during monsoon as a separate piece and removed after monsoon without any problems with the same dont have pics now but will post it tomorow morning
                          Cheers

By your way of asking I assume that you want to remove the license plate holder.
So all u need to do is open the storage area under the seat pull out the rubber casing (easily comes out) and u can easily access the 4 bolts u are talking about but if u are trying to remove the rear tyre hugger that is very well explained by black asp.

Do your cables work fine I meant I have a small leakage in my steel cable at the point where the cable is connected with the calliper with a no 12 nut
I am posting this here since your inbox is full.
Once you take out a brake line and install a new one , you need to change the washers(2 rings) present between the caliper and brake line and between brake line and master cylinder unit. Costs Rs.5/ring. Buy four of them. Hard to find at Yamaha spares, but easily available at Bajaj spares. It is clearly recommended to change it once you take out your brake line.
Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..
