That was 4 times enough. R15 can come from 100 to 0 within 20mtrs i think.
The idea is never to get confused. We should always be in command on road. Just like having sex.
Always consider almost all the possibilities. Never expect others to do things that will make everything safe. take responsibility on road & be in command on road.
In my case i mentioned above, my 2nd option was to hit him hard head on, that would have probably threw him few feet away and i would have been still sitting in the bike (hopefully) cos its a decided hit and me nd my ride is aiming for it.
Riding @ 20-30% more speed of traffic is always safe. Then we will be making decisions and tackling the traffic. Otherwise we are part of others decisions and chances of confusions are more.
And to be 20-30% more don't push to your 100%, we should be always @ 60-70 % of your speed/ability in traffic.sigpic

glad to hear you are ok. you should be claiming insurance, and replacing all parts, do not get the fork's 'repaired' insist for a replacement and same goes for the rim.Originally posted by siddharthsure View PostNo da.. Bad luck
a pshyco women rider crossed suddenly with her Scotty. I was doing a good 70kmph and i didnt get a sec to react to that. Just crashed and went flying, my ride switched herself off immediately thus not rolling over me. Felt so bad to look at my babe like that lying down
that women had head injury and shes alright and i escaped with minor scratches as i was wearing a helmet. Damage fork bent( should replace), Front rim crack, headlight doom and right hand side fairing.. Cant move it,brought it home in tata ace.Such a bad day, i felt like thrashing her but already she was injured :/
Edit: She cranks and revs fine though
i know how it feels when the bike is down but not 'out'
I had a similar crash on my rx100 around 10yrs ago and was dragged for almost 10 meters, and escaped with minor bruises on the knee and feet.. and the bike too escaped with 'minor' damage thanks to the crash guard bar it only had a broken indicator, bent foot rest, gear lever and handle bar and they were cheap to replace/repair (i remember getting em all fixed for 250rs)

Guys,
I did my first service today.
Had only 300km on ODO
. Did Engine oil change, oil filter change , water wash, Air filter cleaning.
Total Damages: 850/-
The SVC guy suggested me Teflon coating for whole body. Charges 550/- for one, or 1000 for 3 sessions.
Wanted to ask, whether it is worth ??

Query Approved and MergedOriginally posted by ashaq54 View PostHi Fellow Riders,
I would request for your expert opinion and advice on the issue I am facing on my bike for the last 2 days.
From yesterday morning, all of a sudden my bike's handle started to wobble a bit. At low speeds, the bike seems to tilt towards right. Even at moderate speeds, i can feel that the handle is tilting a bit to the right and the bike swirls slightly.
I have not had any collisions or falls in last one year or so. Plus, the bike was running fine till now. The only thing done to my bike by my mechanic was to check and tighten the Mounting Bolts few days back. Perhaps, he has over-tightened the mounting bolts, but is it supposed to hamper the handle like this...?
Please shed some light in this regard....Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Check the front tyre pressure, maybe it has a leak/puncture.I had no idea that the front wobbled because of a leak.it was my first front puncture, that also during the rainy season.Originally posted by ashaq54 View PostHi Fellow Riders, I would request for your expert opinion and advice on the issue I am facing on my bike for the last 2 days.

If done correctly, bike will be absolutely as good as before. Try involving the service manager or else bribe the service guy to include replacement for each and every part that can be repaired.Originally posted by siddharthsure View PostThanks bro.. But the only repairable part there is front fork and rim which ill insist them to replace.. Rest everything is fairing damage and broken brake lever and foot peg which has to be replaced. No other way

@sid, sorry hear that. hope you and the bike get back asap properly. Sid please be careful as someone said, its better to avoid something happening rather wait for it. be very attentive and careful. Sometimes even if we are very careful, some careless people may pop in to ruin the day.
OT
In general, i do agree that most women on scooters/cars/bikes are not so quick in thinking as men. but i really dont accept the fact that they all cant ride/drive. Bikernies will be very upset with what was said here i am sure. And please dont compare with animals, its disgusting to read and think it too. There are more men who ride/drive stupidly then women. Period.
PS: The above said is just my opinion and request. i Understand the emotions running through people, i myself have been victim of a women crossing the road and me falling and taking all the beating, but please do go that level.'On the Road that never ends...'

Siddhartsure,
Dude sorry to hear about your accident. Consider yourself lucky to escape unhurt.
Now, forget about what the woman did da. You are a man no? Real rider no? How come you didn't even notice her coming into your path let alone being able to brake effectively in time?
Sorry for being blunt. There are no excuses in riding, if you screw up you could end up injured, dead or maimed for life.
Bottomline: You have to account for other peoples stupidities on the road. And, you have lots to learn!
