Good to know thatOriginally posted by blyzee View PostThanks Ron, I told him like you said and he asked me, so you 2 from YRC.
Well I said Yes. he he
Then he asked me, why no sticker then.
He also said you are not showing up these days.
And i think i was treated better, he took my bike direct for washing and later i came to know that the bikes parked outside there was in Q for washing
he he
And he was telling his fellow mechanic that I am from YRC and I am standing there like stoned after 1 week.
ODO 10866:: And the service, it was 5th
yeas i missed 4th he he
My coolant reserve was empty for weeks, my engine oil was 5k kms old (yamalube ss) oil filter was around 8k kms old.
so i was riding very smoothly, most of the time in 5-6k rpm range. (never saw engine hot indicators or even felt the engine is overheating. but once i could feel the heat and the fan was on , but nothing serious)
Before the service, for my last refuel for i got around 6.4L petrol (Shell) and run for 280kms. so millage around 43. Little unbelievable i know but i am getting it.
Since its my service after a long time, i asked them to do everything possible , i could see them working from the customers waiting room.
They did pretty good jod. satisfied. Won't doubt to go there again.
My Mechanic was Naveen, thankful to him.
Switched to Full synthetic: Motul v300 15w50 double ester
he
I haven't washed my bike since the last service (6K) so after the service i was happy as i got a new ride. he he
So Bangalore boys, sprint to Sprint Yamaha @ Hosur road , tell Ron asked to give it here,
A better experience is guaranteed.
join in for rides man, I am sure you will learn more things about the bike from many riders in yrc
Its been a while, around 2 months I guess, I have not gone there and I did my previous service at BW and I dint have issues that I have to visit svc. Next service will be there. FYI there might be a short ride this weekend on Sunday

1st gear till 10.5K RPM...... Waa never did this. And guys is there any difference in going to 10K RPM in first gear and 10K Rpm in say 4,5, or 6th gear? Both sound different.. The former one doesn't feel smooth, while the later is silky smooth..Dunno whyOriginally posted by himanshunegi1987 View PostODO Reading 4700 kms
Went on a small ride. Noticed following rpm limits :
1st gear @ 10.5 k = 35 km/hr
2nd gear @ 10.5 k = 65 km/hr\
3rdgear @ 10.5 k = 83 km/hr
4th gear @ 10.5 k = 111 km/hr
5th gear @5k = 66 km/hr
6th gear @5k = 75 km/hr
I usually drive @ 5.5-6k rpm, from past 2 weeks have been driving @ 6k. Was getting 48km/lt earlier now 45km/lt. I accelerate very moderately except from last few weeks. Also i have always filled normal petrol, once in 1000km would fill up premium. Today did a tank full of Speed 97(93.xx per lt), did not noticed any difference yet.
Am in love with this bikes braking and the fact that no matter how hard you accelerate, the engine sound always comes back to like a stock bike once you let go off the acc. In my old bike if i acc hard for a little while, it would start doing kharr kharr till you get it serviced or tighten the tappoids.

Have put sealant for my 10528 kms tyre at AutoSeelin.
All the minute pores are blocked and I dont find leakages anywhere.
But still didn't undergo any major punctures, but it provides a peace of mind, that punctures will not stop us at any point of time :-)

Bunked cab and came to office on cab. @ higher RPM`s , bike felt much smoother. especially in 4-6 gears. And am pretty sure its not just in my head. Has to be because of the Speed 97, because thats the only diff from my yesterdays ride.Originally posted by himanshunegi1987 View PostODO Reading 4700 kms

do follow the link for detailed information. : http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/touring-...3-planner.htmlOriginally posted by 883 View Posthi i am from kolkata can i join u at delhi or in between
please tell me the details
i m looking forward for ur reply
Also first prepare yourslef for such ride mentally and physically and be used to with ur ride for longer duration. You can PM me for any more info.
Just check out your rear brake pads. At times it happens that brake pads gets worn out very fast and then the metal pad layer comes in contact with the metal disc plate which warms it up. Check it out at SVC and dont try to do it on your own. This problem should be took serious as sometimes it may lead to rear brake lockup too(worst condition).Originally posted by 883 View Postyeasterday while riding my bike when i applied my rear brake a noise came from disc pads like khap khap khap then i came home and inspected that my rear disc was much hotter than front disc what may be the problem
