Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
I'll post the pics once I am back to home.
To give an idea about the problem, I am seeing the Air Scoops or the side fairings are slowly moving down from the tank. The rubber which is placed between the tank and the side cover is loose.

You mean , that rubber is coming down ? There's absolutely no way the kit is coming down.Originally posted by sriharsha View PostI'll post the pics once I am back to home.

Hey bro! Mine too has done 7790 and is previous engine oil drain was done at 7250 and got the same engine oil as yours. Same experience! Butter smooth till it get warm then on shows little bit of roughnessOriginally posted by siddharthsure View PostHi all.. My engine has superbly settled now at 8k km
oh boy!!! she loves Motul 300v and races to redline superfast with almost nil vibes. Loving it
. Next drain out I'm planning for Castrol Magnetic 10w40 or something which my friend who once owned the same vehicle claims to be better than Motul 300v

Nice pics! But do not remove it while in rainy or monsoon because you got to put your hands under the belly and number plate holder which gets hell lot of stains!!!
And pillion's top or jacket too get dirty, I know it because I had annoyed my friend while on a long drive and forgot to tell when I had my tyre hugger cut which made his white T-shirt literally brown
and of course it had drizzled

Good stuff. Sorry about the crash.Originally posted by Duxx View PostI crash with my R15 here is a video

So what exactly happened there? Did you lose traction or run out of ground clearance?
Regarding sliders, it generally ain't worth it because fairing replacement parts are cheap (here in India at least).
But if you are a regular track-dayer then i guess you might need it. AFAIK there is no provision to fit a slider on the frame.Last edited by incipient; 10-10-2013, 12:42 AM.
