I have ffe and k&n bed type air filter installed on my bike. Which made no major changes.
So I decided to do some performance mods which includes:
    Powertronic rs ecu
    Big bore kit 180cc
    High lift camshaft
    NGK iridium sparkplug
    power cable for plug
And valve springs (I'm not sure about it does it do Any good.)
I'm based in lucknow so parts will take about a week to reach me. I'm confused are these fittings complex I know a mechanic from service center would he be able to do it. As far as I know abhimanyu did these mods far ago so could you please give me some kind of report on problems faced by you , benefits , reliability and some other details.
Omg!!! After the parts reach, just keep them in your showcase or in your garage.. The money you lost now for buying these is nothing compared to what you'll lose after installing it in your bike. Just read the thread posed above ^^ before installing.
Still if you choose to install it, be ready to see your engine getting blown from inside and to spend another 20-30k to bring the bike to near stock condition.. The choice is yours now. Good luck

Ps: already a lot of damage done by FFE and K&N since you installed them without altering fuelling(Reason for not feeling any difference)

Recent hotroding circumstances in India indicates to extremely low presence of intellectual minds in field. As compared to Indonesia were in every street there is an excellent modifier.they literally improve performance by one fourth. And reverse is the case in our regime.
If you're bored by your current arsenal (power) sell it and upgrade to higher bhp bike.

        AGREED
I'm well aware of the risks involved and I may end up replacing the whole engine block.
        I have read the post.
If someone tries to mod their ride 9 out of 10 are going to be happy and 1 may not end up the way he planned.
As far as I know Joel's kits are far reliable than others.
I want everyone's opinion and advise.
If I get the gains that I have read about then it's worth a risk.
I appreciate your inputs keep them coming ...

Very well, if you know what you are doing, then all the best
i really hope you don't have a blown out engine. Make sure you change all the parameters accordingly.

Well, he said he know about the pros and cons and still wants to go on, we can't make anyone change his mind. Wish him luck and help him with what little knowledge we have.

To me this statement is a red flag.
Before you install the parts i would highly recommend that you (or anyone more than casually interested in bikes) preview this excellent book on Google books:

Sportbike Performance Handbook - Kevin Cameron - Google Books

(If some chapters become unavailable after you start reading just clear the browser cookies and cache and refresh the page!)

At least after reading this you will be able to appreciate what you are getting into.

Its simple, the R15 v1 did just as well as the V2 with 80 section front and 100 rear.

So why the bigger tires? Probably to give the Indian customers what they want (big fat tires).
Ultimately, fact is, the R15v2 is a mass produced bike and the overwhelming majority of the customers are not going to go racing with it.

Food for thought: Moto3 bikes have 115 section rear tires.

You know, i learned riding on a Splendor. After a crash while trying to test its cornering limits, i always leaned it tentatively. The same habit carried on later to the R15. Until one day i found out about Keith Code, the art of cornering, chicken-strips and all that stuff. I noticed that i had one and a half inch chicken strips on either side of the rear tire. :-P That gave me a clue that maybe i wasn't cornering near the capabilities of the bike. But it took a leap of faith to lean it any further.

Even now if i flick it hard into full lean (i generally avoid doing that on the streets) there is a bit of an Oh! moment when you feel that maybe you lost traction. But you gotta trust the tires and your own abilities.

"Leap of faith"...Haha... You got humour mate..

I'm in the same boat with the Splendor story, only I havent crashed yet (probably cuz I havent leaned it as much as you).. The "oh! moments" make their presence felt at as less as 15 degrees from the y axis... #NeedToTrustTheTyresBetter.

Here you will see bikes without engines snapped conrods busted pistons and shattered cranks and thanks to the tuner's reliable kits.also in some cases you will see shoddy craftsmanship with no quality checks and sending ruined parts to the customers

I also gave him the link to this thread. But.. we all know when one's mind is onto something, they don't listen.
Just wish him luck that he's one of few who are spared of blow-ups.

But the thing is that, no matter how much we help him, he himself first needs to have real good knowledge about engines (valves, timings, compression etc etc..) and only then others can be of any help.

                            Thanks for your essential inputs.
I have gone through the post. The main culprit are the big bore kits when ridden at high rpm the piston rings blows off resulting in engine seizures. Higher compression resulted in malfunctioning of self motor. The 180 cc big bore will require bigger intake and exhaust valves to really benefit for them and not all kits have perfect craftmanship. So, I decided stick to my stock 150cc bore.

But something must be done to satisfy my power needs.

As I already have leo vince ffe and k&n bed type air filter to really benefit from them I have to go for powertronic ecu and high lift camshaft.
In place of big bore I'll go for :
Racing valve springs (preventing vavle floating at high rpm)
Racing clutch springs (reducing transmission loss).
I dropped the big bore idea as I'm far form bangalore and can't keep waiting for replacements
Most power and torque can be gained by this mod but it's the most harmful and time consuming one .
So, Thanks again to all for their advices which helped me in taking the right decision.

Good decision... I also recommend you to drop the idea of racing valve springs as they are not actually better than the stock. You can find the comparison in that thread. They are literally useless. Also get the fuelling correct ASAP by doing dyno runs.
