So what exactly happened there? Did you lose traction or run out of ground clearance?

Regarding sliders, it generally ain't worth it because fairing replacement parts are cheap (here in India at least).
But if you are a regular track-dayer then i guess you might need it. AFAIK there is no provision to fit a slider on the frame.
I lose traction, you can see the white zone of the ground ;(

What is your opinion about these sliders, is the bike of a friend ( the one who is in front of me in the video)

First of all congratulations on your new bike!
It is required for you to shift the gear on right intervals i.e. as and when speed decreases you are supposed to down shift accordingly with the RPM. Do not revv beyond 5k RPM(because it isn't to shift from 4th onwards below 4k RPM) and exceed 60kmph. And most importantly do not pull the clutch lever when you want to slow down when you head towards a traffic signal or a hump or so which actually makes your chain sang and affects your mileage. Don't blindly relay on rear brakes as they are of Nissin and tend to be very sharp unlike the Brembo(Bybre) on Pulsar 220/ Honda CBR's and can cause fishtailing much easier comparatively. Apply both the brakes all the time.

Regarding half clutch there no much difference except the vehicle starts to move as and when you release little bit of clutch lever. You can get adjustment for full clutch done if at all you aren't comfortable with the current adjustment.

This is all and apart from this lube the chain once in two weeks or so depending upon the usage. And R-15's are very prone to scratches so park it safely when you are parking elsewhere other than your regular spot.

It wont cause damage to the engine, but it could very well crack the engine case and clutch cover on a fall. That could be the moment when you think changing the fairing was a better option than changing the clutch case.
Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

It's been around 5 months since I got my ride and two days back I got first scratch.
I was waiting for signal to turn green. Suddenly some lame rider on HH Hunk with poor brakes hit his crash guard on my exhaust. Luckily It was minor and on rear side covered by plastic fairing over it.

Any tips to avoid such mishaps?

                PS: This picture isn't mine.

no offence, but thats a stupidest thing i have seen til now for sliders mounting. it will obviously cause damage to the engine in longer run if u have more falls.

Hi friends, I bought my moto GP edition R15 V2 on 9th Oct 2013. My house is opposite to assistant commissioner office in Chennai. I parked it inside my home, and yesterday night someone has lifted it over the wall and stolen it. . Has just driven 5 kms with it. Very sad.

Shift initial gears after it touches 4k rpm but for 4th, 5th and 6th you need to be around 5k rpm.

How is it possible for link to break? What exactly did you mean to say? Nothing as such can happen I guess and if at all something happens claim warranty and get it replaced if they do not oblige to replace the part leave a grievance letter at the nearest head office! Hope they respond to it at least

Nothing harm can be caused due to half clutch and more over you probably would have got that kind of adjustment from ASC only so blame it on them!!

You are left with only one option that is to go with the legal approach! Better not wait more. Check out if any of your neighbors have a CCTV installed which would pose as an evidence!

Of my goodness. There's not a bad feeling than that. Did you report it ? What did the Police say ?

Yea saddest thing that can ever happen. I dont know how they lifted R15. Its one of the toughest bike to move since it got nothing to hold and lift.

I have filed an FIR, I am doubting my neighbors only (living in an apartment). No outsider knows that the bike was in the compound. I parked it late at night, and it was under complete cover.

Did you search nearby places?? Like some isolated place. Usually they hide it nearby before taking it to far location.
