Plus, the kind of grip the stock MRFs provide durign riding/ braking in wet conditions is phenomenal.
had rainy ride yesterday was nice. BTW Tj you can ask rayhan for that dry feet thingi LOL If you know what i mean

Can the drive chain get tightened on its own, i.e. automatically? Just 3-4 days back, I felt it was a bit slack, now today as i check I find the chain making noise and had an increased amount of tension compared to what I felt earlier

I used to think so too until the day i took a peek and saw that ugly cylindrical can behind all the sexy plastic makeup.
You know now that i think of it bikes and women have a lot in common. (no offence) :-D

Were your projectors running when the light came on???
            No it it was daytime.
I took my bike to svc but the light didn't came on.
I think it was a minor electrical glitch.

Guys what are your thoughts on the Daytona kit.
Does it really boost performance (which is noticeable not only top speed)
How it performs in the city.

When the Chain lube gets dry, chain tightens. All you need to do is clean your chain and lube it and get it loosen a little bit..
Its the same scenario when i get my chain tighten up by mechanic and after 5 days the chain got so tight that it has started making Khrrrrrrr noise.

Actually, the chain tension is different at different points. I recently got the bike serviced when the chain was lubed

Do a very good research, assuming this is the beginning of your research.
first and foremost thing you have to know is that the daytona kit is made for tracks and is illegal on roads.
Since its made for tracks it is mostly designed for the initial pickup and not for the top speed increase.
Yes there is considerable increase in power and slight increase in top end. if you can tolerate the sound of the exhaust (sounds good though) and also the expense and also the reduced engine life then go ahead

FYI it costs nearly 50k to get what you want.
so are you ready to spend 50K for that?

My advise is save that 50k and save a little more and buy a bigger bike after few months when you are done with r15.

PS: one of the YRC member has a race spec daytona bike. he has ridden it on track. i have ridden the bike too. its been few months he bought the daytona kit. recently he said that he is almost done with the bike and planning to sell it and get bigger bike. Trust me save the money.

You're bike has lights coming out from the circumference of the head light right!? But the r1 doesn't! So I'm wondering what lights would give that look

Source projectors of P220. It does not have angel eyes. And just install it with appropriate bulb.

                            Cheers!!!!

Have seen a few r15 with this kinda styling for the headlight, right down to the intake gaps too, had seen in FB and can't find the pic now, so atleast a little search in FB might give you a result.

                              Cheers
