    • Which is the best and reliable authorised service station in Pune?
    • Should I change the oil filter every time I change the oil?
    • What rpm should i maintain till the 'run-in' period of the bike is complete?
    • Should I constantly keep changing gears even if there's no need till the 'run-in' completes?

    Thank-You in advance!
    Good to know that-
    Answers to your question

    1) YFS - Yamaha Factory Shop near Wakdewadi
    2) Not required
    3) Prescribed RPM on your users manual - ( I do not somewhat believe in it but would suggest you dont shoot over 4000rpm, but again thats a personal advice)
    4) Not required, Do your usual riding in prescribed rpm levels and your fine.

    • After properly warming up, you can take the bike all the way till redline, no worries, just make sure you do it at a steady phase.

          • My 1st service

Got my bike back after 1st service. 440kms on ODO & completed one month. First thing to notice is that the gear shifting has become very smooth now. The bike feels less vibrating. I told the SVC guy to change my headlights settings as it wasn't adjusted properly. He did it & now the lights feel very very useful & better. He didn't lube the chain although i don't think it was needed at this moment. Will be buying motul chain clean & lube. If anyone has any suggestions then please help. Is it possible to install more powerful lights e.g. 55w bulbs on both sides without upgrading the battery. What will be the approximate cost for the same.

chain cleaning and lubing is very much needed during first service, if the ASC has not done it, pls do it soon.
Motul is the most proven of them all, go for it.
I am not sure about 55w headlights (IMHO wont be a good idea). At least 3 of us in Bangalore are running on HID for the high beam. And it has improved things a lot.

                  • I too face the same problem

                    [QUOTE=deepheartrider;815296]Hello every one!!

Recently i am experiencing a new problem... whenever i take my ride out.. she responds super smooth in the initial stages and as km's goes on i feel little harshness from the engine.. What might be the problem?

Hello . I too face the same problem . After riding 10-15 km's , i too feel harshness from the engine . When i asked the SVC , those guys says it is normal ( But,i can notice the harshness by means of SOUND and while driving if my RPM needle crosses 2k RPM -2.5 k RPM ( in 2nd and 3rd gear ) there is a chuck chuck chuck noise from the left side part of the engine which is annoying !! My coolant is up to maximum level mark !

I Posted this query in this thread , but no one responded

                    • Hi All,

Today I visited Bangalore wheels showroom in Rajaji nagar and got to know they are not giving v2 for test ride. They said it is across Bangalore.

Is it true? or is there any showroom where I can get a test ride?
