    Kindly answer..
Firstly what bike have you been riding till now and why are you thinking of going for R15?
secondly, yes and no is the answer to your question, ofcourse it can be everyday bike but not for all, because the bike is not meant for all.
I have been riding 40kms everyday for office commute, this including half of heavy traffic and half highway. there are few times i get slight pain in the wrist and back(there will be horrible traffic in bangalore at times ). but not an issue for me. i even tour on the bike on weekends. the bike does come with some instructions to follow like seating posture n other stuffs.
now the question to u, will you be comfortable riding the bike for 70kms everyday? (70kms assuming 35kms is oneway ride) choose for yourself bro. any other things then you may ask.

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

      • hi all,

since the SVC could not detect the specific reasons behind my bike's overheating issue, i had replaced both the thermostat and the fan motor relay. since then, the overheating issue seems to have been solved as the overheating light did not come up any more and also the bike was not heating up that much. it was heating up occasionally, like in heavy traffic, but the fan was kicking in and it was cooling off...which was quite normal.

however, the overflow of the coolant through the drainage pipe has been there and, interestingly, it is evident only in the mornings. once i reach my office every morning which is around 5-6 KMs away, right after parking i see several drops of coolant flowing through the drainage pipe. and, it is not one or two drops, it is several drops every morning and there must be many drops while riding too. if this goes on, the entire amount of the coolant will overflow out of the reservoir...and, sooner or later, my bike will again start overheating.

could you please shed some light on this issue...i am getting quite depressed with this issue these days. please help.

        regards.

Hi Ankit, the answer to your question is YES. It canbe your everyday office bike, but I guess, by office bike you mean just the travelling and not the thrashing and abusing thingy.

Since you are a biking enthu, it should and it will give you a reason to smile while going to office everyday. Its a fantastic machine mate. I don't own one, :'( but have ridden it for some time and I was clean bowled. Traffic, aahaa, its just another playground for R15. As pointed out earlier, it may give you a little back and wrist pain initially, but then as you munch miles, you will never want to get off the saddle.
          Regards,

                Thanks,

I went to service center, the mechanic said it would happen in rainy season because chain lube isn't oil... and there is nothing to worry about... although I'll buy chain lube and do it myself from now on...
