    • She is all fixed up!

Hey guys, finally got the plaster off my knee after 3 weeks, got her all fixed up though it was tiring and took literally an entire day at YFS but Nitin and his crew did a decent job of restoring her! It summed up to a grand total of Rs. 16,500...i admit i've never been happier to ride her back home! soon the next morning went on a short 80 kms trip covering ghats and long stretches and it felt Gooood to be up and riding again! also bought protective riding gear such as knee guards, gloves & a jacket!...She's good as new, what more can i say!

Good to have you rolling back. If its not much of a hassle i would like to request you if you can upload the costing of damages - Parts and its prices that were required for restoring. It would give an insight of costs of parts.

          Thanx.

          • Finally my R15 is fixed. Happy with the service. They called me up from the Head Office Kolkata and from the showroom I bought the bike from, fixed a date and time with me, came over to the location and fixed the bike. Nothing was charged to me. This is the kind of service which is expected from Yamaha. Very happy.

                            • Guys, won't the knee guards scratch both sides of the tank?

no, not scratches but the paint on the faring right below the tank becomes dull and leaves a patch due to constant friction...but i can live with that!...i would rather wear my protective gear than spend a lac on knee surgery again! and to add it all up mine is a LE..but still works for me!...its worth it!
