EDIT- I do not wish to have any sorts of war with the other comparing bike which is CBR 150R, Even if the CBR is capable of doing, proving, dreams faster let it be, Iam happy with my steed and the results iam getting. Even if someone offers me a CBR free i wont take it, So please dont compare. Keep the thread clean.

You can if you wish to, as i said iam not looking for comparisons here. That was also one short of blast types speeds i was doing, the road on the other side of city (towards satara - NH4) are this sorts where you can achieve such speeds.

It was hitting the redline often, because of taller gearing it was, it was not, it was, it was not, it was, it was not, it kinda freaked me out but that's when i gave up, and ended the run at high speeds.

Also toll naka's in between so you got to slow down to pass through them, but in all a good run.

No question of comparisons here. I am aware of the speedo indicated top speed, was curious to know the true top speed and that's all.

Alternatively you can use Google My Tracks.
It also allows you to record the route that you used for the trip and also gives the information that you have mentioned.

@Eshan: Glad that you have reached this speed! Was the climate perfectly alright?
As per my experience the GPS cannot be completely relied upon when the sky is not clear ! In case even it was slightly cloudy, there may be error! I have tested the GPS lot of times.. once in a very mildly clouded climate i reached 126kmph in my RX135 5speed(stock) :P i mean this speed was said by the GPS

Yep sky was clear, i had no intentions of sliding in rains at those speeds

This is not the first time i have been at those speeds, but the r15 kinda doesnt feel safe at those speeds. The last run was on a Ninja but that was somewhere in Feb, had clocked 155-160kmph speeds on way to office. Had specially taken a morning shift so i could enjoy the bike.

May be daytona kit is mistakenly installed in your stock R15 :P.
