I have somehow misplaced my owners manual for my red v2.
Does anyone here have a soft copy of it...?
It will help a lot.
Also my FE is arnd 29-35. Never more than 35... Is it normal.
I am riding bikes from last 15 yrs... Had a Kawasaki, zma and then R15 v2.
Now v2 has completed arnd 4k Kms.
First 1000 Kms rode as per manual ...just 2 times I raced for like 15 seconds...
2 servicings done.how come some members here r quoting 40+ FE...?
I drive 50% highway at arnd 80-115 kmph. City 50-60kmph.
I use Speed as d fuel instead of plain petrol.

the FE that you are getting is also being reported by some people. not to worry. some get between 35 to 40 and some get 40+. depends on the way you shift the gears also and at what Rpm you do it. riding at 115 alone cant help. i get between 38-43. this is including sane n insane riding.Originally posted by swapnillife View PostI have somehow misplaced my owners manual for my red v2.

Saddle Bags
Some members had query regarding using saddle bags on the v2.
I finally had a trip i could make use of the saddle instead of the tank bag.
It fits fine, you would have to use the small opening in tail lamp holder for the strap.
But you do need a bungy cord for holding it tightly as on bumpy roads or no roads during my trip, it wasn't holding up that great.
Hope it helps.Ride On,

I had done a short trip with the use of tank bag as tail bag. With use of bungee cords it worked well.
No need to strap near the brake light as there are provision given for bungee cords.
Also a Cramster tank bag can be used a tail bag, there are bungee loops underneath the bag, you need to insert the cords through these loops and then fasten the cords.
It does not slide ahead or back when riding over 125kmph speeds also. If you want, it can be used as a back rest too if its flooded with luggage.sigpic

I was thinking of using both saddle and tank on the rearend as a unit, haven't had such long trip yet, hopefully after the monsoons.Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View Postuploading a pic of bungee cords attached on tail bag.

Yeah a long trip. Btw i had a Canon 1000D, 18-55mm and a 70-300mm lens inside the bag thats why i dint loop it from the top. Those hooks are bang on target when it comes to touring.Originally posted by nastrofaction View PostCramster/Colt

I was gonna go for Rynox but thought of it as a waste as this works perfect. Mind you it was pouring heavily and not even one single drop went inside, they have provided a rain cover too, bright yellow for visibility.
EDIT isn the 7100 the one which is costing Rs470?? if its that one then iam using it currently in my bike and its good.sigpic
