Check if you are gripping the right hand clip-on too tight.

That's bullb*lls-sh*t .. I used to watch over every minute of my apache's service (Paid Bike Service (Screwup) at Kiran Commercials – Part2 su -c ‘rm -rf /mnt/proprietary’) and also help them out with cleaning filters and chain.

Watch Twist of the wrist or read the book by the same name... it is a very good book on track riding.

                Bang on point.

btw still learning throttle control. Very different from the bikes i owned. Making silly mistakes, its so finicky, small movements are recorded.

Everytime i feel like a student trying to learn actual riding.

I think I have ok throttle control, but I sometimes make mistakes.. also taking right turn is not easy... I am never confident on right turns. Still trying to keep hands loose on turns though...

                  • today, my bike's condition got even worse. after riding for 4-5 KMs the engine overheating light came-up and stayed on. switched off the engine and once started after 3-4 minutes the light was still on. morever, after reaching home, i noticed, the radiator fan was not running.

from another mechanic i heard today that a faulty Radiator Fan Motor Relay could be the culprit. what do you guys think?

taking my beast to the mech's shop tomorrow morning.

dude you are harming the bike more by riding it without even knowing the fault and not knowing if its corrected or not. please make sure the bike is proper before doing longer rides.

                      • hi Frens,

I recently booking my R15, after 1 year of only car driving...
the last I owned was P220 and before that a P180 for 5 years.

I am waiting to lay my hands very soon on "R-DNA", the reason why I booked it.

I keep going to showroom asking for a test ride of R-DNA which I love so so much...

Anyways... I am often scrolling through these ownership pages to gain more information, and its so cool reading you guys learning cornering on R...

                        • Guys I need new rubber for by bike's rear.
Reason : I am pissed off with this soft compound thing. Having punctures every alternate day. Be it small pieces of glass or gravel, everything is causing a puncture.
I am so pissed off that for the last few days riding the bike with a punctured tyre.

Now the new tyre that I intend to buy must be something that can resist being punctured so easily.
Also the tyre should be easily available in Pune.

Please pour in your valuable suggestions.

Try Pirelli sports Demon, the one that is used on a Ninja, i think it has the same dimension. A bit costly on the pocket but perfect.

Try using the puncture resistant fluid provided by yamaha. If that does not help then you can go for tyre of another make.

It will save you money as well as the MRF's are best suited for our bike. Hence no compromise made.

Thats a good idea. Will have to ask YFS whether I can use the fluid after the tyre has been patched for punctures.

Also I found out that my rear disc fuild is near the low level. Bike has done 4588KM on the odo. I use both disc equally, maybe front a bit more, still front disc reservoir is full, whereas rear is nearly empt.
How much would it cost to get the rear disc fluid refilled from YFS?
