1. How comfortable is R15 for long rides?
You'll have to get used to it...I'm 6.1 feet tall but all the previous bikes i've owned had a sporty position..being used to such bikes i feel no pain be it wrist pain or back pain except when i go for 70kms+ rides
2. How well does it hold on to a bit of offroading? I mean, in my hometown, the place has got the least of the roads and are mostly dirt/slush or mud.
this is my personal opinion and might differ to what others say...R15 is a stiff bike compared to the 'springy' suspension of ur p150...sure it can take a bit of off-roading but it won't be as comfortable
3. How hard it is to maintain it like an eveyday bike? You know, I am jumping from my 55 KMPL P150 to R15.
I use the bike for daily commuting...thats 30kms give or take(i know its less) but the bike performs exceptionally well...followed the run-in method as per the manual and faced no problems till date...except for the frequent chain cleaning and lubing there is no other matter which would require ur attention...right from the day of service to the date of the next service..she's as smooth as she was and a joy to ride
4. What is the price of the fairing, the complete set and the brake pads?
Can't really comment on this since I own a LE and am more well versed with LE spares...all i can say is LE spares ain't cheap
5. Indian question : KITNA DETI HAI? Fuel Efficiency?
This really depends on how you ride but according to my experience when i maintained speeds above 5k rpm it was 38.8kmpl and speeds below 4.5k it was 42.9kmpl
I know that now there are on paper/on account balance, better options from other manufacturers like Bajaj and Honda and HMC, but I am smitten by the beauty of the Baby R1. She is a like Angelina Jolie or Penelope Cruz or Scarlet Johanson. Performs the best and looks the best.
She sure is
Also, is it ok if I go for a handlebar grip if I happen to get her home? I mean like the ones we get in foam type so that I can reduce a bit of pain?
you can but doesn't really help
Also, do we have any provisions like V1 to make it a single seater (I don't remember the name of that fiber/plastic thingy)?
its called a seat cowl...sadly for now we don't have one...but i guess there soon will be
