I have recently got my R15 Fiery Red after reading your helpful reviews... here is one request to you members.

The fuel lid of my bike is not opening up, its kind of very tight...
And this is happening from Day 1, today i tried putting up some lubricant oil(engine oil) and then it was opened up that too after lots of pressure, hit and try fight.

Tell me what can we do.. ?
My bike is yet to get its first service done.

And can we lower the rear brake lever by few cms. ? Has any one of you tried doing it...
its kind of pain in ankle with high set up angle,
Dont worry about the fuel lid, the key at times get stuck too, let some days go by and it would be fine.

About the brake lever, let me tell you thats fully adjustable, even the gear lever is adjustable. Me being 6feet, it was a pain shifting and braking, tell the SVC they will adjust it for you, the nut is at the lever itself.

So during first service, hope it would be rectified.
Regarding rear brake angle, one solution is to keep your foot below the brake lever, and rise up when needed.( I used to follow this) but always have a finger on front brake.( I feel front brake is more than sufficient for R15, rear is just to support at times of hard braking)

As per my knowledge, the big R and big FZ comes with Brembo unlike the nissin fitted big blades.

Anyone here tried steel braided brake lines for both front and rear? I am very much interested in doing it, but need to know whether duke's or P220's fits perfectly. Dukes rear line looks way too lengthy..

              Go with Ninja's.

              p.s.: 220's is a perfecto.

I dont want that big hole in the pocket.
What about rear brake line? P220 only has it on front..

All 3 prior servicings were done from YFS, Wakdewadi. This time I will get her serviced from Yamaha Point, Wakdewadi. Spoke with the guys there, they said if I come by 9 AM will get delivery by 12 PM and I can stay and watch my bike getting serviced. Will report back about my experince once servicing is sone.

BTW till date I am using the engine oil that Yamaha service center provides.
Want to shift to FS this time. Which FS would you guys recommend for my bike?

The SS oil Yamaha provide is excellent. But motul 300v FS will be the best.

This led mod was not as hard as it seemed, the lights can be turned off and come on only when the park lights are on, I installed a switch for that.
