    • Was on the way to Pune for a Trip. Again on the way got overheating problem! When i opened the radiator, found no coolant inside! Not a drop of it! I wonder where all the coolant disappeared! Possibilities are there that gaskets can be defective, but can it leak the whole litre of coolant ? :O Completely fed up with Yamaha service! Now stuck up in Bangalore to repair the bike and will have to get back on track!
EDIT- Any idea how much the side panel(white LE) alone which says 'Yamaha' costs ? Or is it availble separately?

        • [QUOTE=Ivin;855652]Sure it will, havent you noticed that even the side stand is removed on the R15's used in one make championship since there is high possibility of it scrapping down and losing control.
But that's on the track nd v wouldn't be pushing the bike so hard right.. So I think it would be better answered by somebody who has used it on the road I mean normal use....

I once posted a pic here in this same thread of how i use 2 car jacks to raise the back end up..! Thats a better option than pushing the bike back and forth.

On the other hand...been a long time since i posted. Read all the posts though. . Good to know everyone has been having a trouble free ownership. As for my own experience, its been wonderful. No problems whatsoever. Fourth service done. 6700kms done. Running strong and consistent.

@Ron syl- Very sad to know so. Get the claim money and buy one again. Happy second V2

                          • Need advice for a lighting upgrade.

I need a basic bulb upgrade which will allow better visibility at night without putting too much strain on the battery. Not looking for projectors.

Please suggest which bulbs, which brand and expected cost.

                            Thanks.

                            (P.S. - I'm a total noob to this area).
