You did not read the rest of the storyOriginally posted by shreyassave View PostHmm.. So spark plug was resulting in it, or major contribution was of the leakage from the head?
The head gasket was defective. And the main issue is that there is a leak in the cooling system right at the thermocouple valve. Still haven't solved it!

You can try ebay india, will cost you around 8k INR. Cheapest way is to find someone coming down from the US, order the XENA in the US and get it here thru him/ her, should cost you $70 that ways...Originally posted by blyzee View PostWhere i can get 1 ?

Shreyas, Always keep 4+ Ltrs in the tank.
After washing, ensure you dry the bike.
Do the following
Fill some more fuel in the tank
Check the fuse (Not sure on how its done in a V2. In V1 it was a box under the seat next to the battery)
Replace the fuse
Check if the battery connectors are properly mounted
Disconnect the horn
Start the bike.Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

Well, can you check the battery terminals once.Originally posted by shreyassave View PostKindly help!
I had a similar issue and the culprit was a damaged screw.
Anyone has tried a battery cum bulb upgrade.
Am planning upgrading to 5 amp from 3.5 and replacing 35w twins with 55w.
Any reviews ?Ride On,

Went to fill up nitogen gas in tyres. Person asked for Rs 50, i was fine with that. Then he said if i fill this right now, i would have to fill this in future only. Now i ask
1)Is that right ? I cannot switch to normal air later ?
2)Does Nitrogen gas really worth Rs 50 ? And what kind of effects does it do ?

Brother, i don`t want to mess up with any tuning, i did it to my new CBZ-X and regretted it for 6 years. I dont want it for performance, just for the sound. Would it be any problem, if i fit aftermarket air filter ( K&N / Cosworth ) inside the air box ( hope thats what it is called ).Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View PostI wouldnt use a K&N if I was you. Rather a Cosworth would be best in class, this filter can be washed with water, Yes you heard it right, it can be washed with water when dirty.
Iam attaching a link, many V1 owners have installed this filter. Also if you plan to buy it from DSG, dont, unless you are in Pune or the product is in front of you, they have worst shipping policies.
I hope you are also aware that installing a after market product will void off the warranty you have. But there is way around too, if any problems are faced, install the OEM filter and then go to SVC, dont let them find out that you have an after market product. It will take time for your ECU to get adjusted to new product as it requires hell lot of patience and tuning also. A filter is useless without a free flow, So consider than an option too.

Hey there, if for the sound i suggest dont go for this mod, the chances of screwing up are more.Originally posted by himanshunegi1987 View PostBrother, i don`t want to mess up with any tuning, i did it to my new CBZ-X and regretted it for 6 years. No it wont be a problem as it is best for our bikes (an after market filter) but then you are voiding the warranty, and thats a big one to lose if you think practically, may be once the warranty is over then you can go for such mods. Dekho bhai kuch paane ke liye kuch khona bhi padta hai, its like that. But there is a turnaround, as i mentioned earlier, if your bike is facing any problem you may remove the filter before going to SVC but its a hassle to do that.

I havent filled it up yet. Went there , had some doubts and came back to clarify them.Originally posted by Ron Syl View Postquestion is why did you fill it up if you didnt know the 'effects' ?
Am confused, u said dont do it if u want it for the sound, then u say its best for our bikes ( an after market filter. Sorry am noob. I do want it for sound only. But dont want any tuning to be done. And i totally agree with the other way around for warranty so that wont be a problem. Even if i would be installing any after market filter , i will try not to remove the OEM filter. Now suggest should i go for it ?Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View PostHey there, if for the sound i suggest dont go for this mod, the chances of screwing up are more.

See bro,
1) After market filters are good, consider them exceptionally best in class stuff for your bike.
2) But installing them would void your warranty which is more important than the performance atleast when the bike is new.
3) So wait till the warranty is completed and then go for after market products which are best in class, ie - Cosworth Filter.
4) Till then suffice with the stock settings.
For you second last sentence, i will try not to remove the OEM filter, without removing the stock you cannot put a after market filter. Since you agree with the other way round technique for warranty then issues should not come up, go ahead with the cosworth.sigpic
