                    • Now why did you go above 5k before 500kms? Treat the manual as bible, you shouldnt go above 5k before 500kms and 7k before next 500kms(i.e odo 1000kms). stick to the manual buddy.

Thanks a lot brother. I agree, nothing in the net. Btw an owner told me R15's fork size is 39mm and fz's is 41mm.

He did that and you are misleading him. He said he just took it to 6k RPM once in 300 kms. The manual says occasional bursts beyond the specified limits are fine. This has been stressed by Kuntal very recently and myself too a few pages back. Can we please end the run-in dilemma here? It has been discussed to death multiple times in this thread.

True, probably someone can summarize the points we had and let the mods put it up on the first page, we can redirect people there for all run-in queries or can add more stuff that we have identified and have a common concise over or may be a index sorts.

On another topic, for the last two times have been going to a local mech here in Pune and he isn't bad. Gives his full time to the ride, is a ex-yamaha rider mech so knows r15. Charges appropriate, listens, knows what to do and good results. He resolved my ever lasting loose front problem which two SVC here refused even to understand, let alone resolve. Ping me, if anyone feels like visiting him, will pass the details.

And one query, i guess people will be knowing that the front brake lever gets loose with time and the play decreases and which can't be fixed as such.
It needs some part replacement, anyone has done that ? Can let me know what to change and charges involved ?
I am escaping accidents everyday due to this delay in power braking. . So please, hurry up.
                                Ride On,
                                Akshat
