            Get it checked.

            - When I felt it the Tank was almost empty. Later I had filled approx. 8 Ltrs of Fuel and Set the air pressure to 28 Front and 33 Rear. Post that I could feel minor change but it has not resolved completely.

            - Initially I felt the conset would be a problem but beyond 15 Kmph the bike handles smoothly.

            - Registration is on Monday post which I will take it to ASC and check.

Guys, I have a problem in my bike (Yamaha R15 V2.0). My bike has covered around 1100 Km. But recently I had an issue with the bike's sound. I told the SVC guy about the issue.
He told me to get the engine tappet adjusted in the next service. Now after second service, tappets have been adjusted, no issue with the sound, but I have a new problem now.
Whenever I'm riding my bike and I ride over a speed breaker, I feel as if the handle is loose. And also there is some sort of "khatt- khatt" sound when I cross speed breaker. I'm not talking about the shocker sound (I know it very well). The sound is like as if something is kept near headlight area that gets displaced. I can feel the vibrations on handle.

I told the SVC guy about all this but he is unable to detect the issue . He told that the bike is fine. But I can certainly feel the difference.
Please I need help. I'm not confident anymore while applying front brakes. I feel as if handle is gonna get dislodged. I think the SVC mechanics are, kind of, noobs .

What might be the problem? Should I consult any other private mechanic?

Hey as per your description about the problem i think the cone-set is a bit loose so you can check by holding the front brake and try to push the bike back and front and see the steering where it is attached to the chassis if there is any play.

As suraj200 said that the noise is coming from cone set, even i agree to that. Khatt khatt noise coming when you are riding over speed breakers indicates that cone set is loose. Kindly get it checked.

Even i had the same problem with my R15.

Thanks bro. I will get it checked. But I don't trust SVC mechanics anymore. So, I think I need to find some other private mechanic.

One query more. Is it dangerous to apply front brakes sharply? I have a bad feeling that the handle will come out

Loose cone set will give such feeling. Get it tightened or change it, if required.
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Just ask the mechanic to tighten the cone-set a bit not more or else your bike will feel jam(Hindi word) and steering will feel heavy.

No, but you have to be careful and the handle won't come out just like that. I would be more helpful if you could send a pic.

                          Hi,

I'm sorry to be such a bother here. But I test rode both the R15s and the V2.0 today. Oddly enough I felt there's a difference on the seating on both the bikes. The R15s seems to have a smaller lean angle than the V2.0(By that I mean I seem to lean forward a lot more than on the R15s than the V.20). I am inclined to believe all this is in my head.. but somehow the V2.0 seems more comfortable.

Anyone here can corroborate this experience of mine?

You can read my earlier reply for this. R15v2 is much sporty in feel and makes one sit inside the bike
