Tried sending you a PM but don't know for what reason was unable to do so.
How did you solve the breather hose pipe issue in your pulsar 220. I am facing the same issue with the breather hose elbow coming off the crankcase.

    Bro,
Sent you a PM please check .

Please give me some tips to get a decent mileage. Thank you! [emoji4]

For mileage be it any engine, the more you rev the more power it makes and the more fuel it will consume

So try to be gentle with the throttle and keep it around 6k rpm range
No replacement for an engine Displacement

Yes, for me initially i was shifting 4-4.5k rpm .later on switched to 5k and now even till 6k rpm it doesnot looks too fast for me [emoji3] . May be its human tendency more than a machine .
Yes but the engine surely will open up for higher RPMs to give more smooth experience.
Hello bro, I think you've misunderstood me..!! I said that shifting at 4.5 - 5k rpm feels like am going too fast! Not that I feel like the machine is moving slow! For me it's too fast if I shift at 4.5 - 5k rpm! Whether it's the nature of R15 or maybe am just feeling like that?

Mate I understood you correctly and that's why I said , I was also shifting at 4-4.5k rpm which I was feeling fast . later I got used to it and started shifting at 4.5 -5k rpm and then 5-6k rpm .. Yeah surely our R15 has got good low end torque and for sure the bike will open up more .
You can shift between 4-4.5k rpm.

                Hello,

I am kind of facing this issue ... The first two gears feels sluggish... and some times I hear some noise like a vibration ( Imagine the sound if you are on the wrong gear minus the jerking ) ... Gear 3 and above us very good and smooth. bike is just 80 kms on odo. Any inputs ?

                  Hi,

Just a bit of advice. Don't push the bike too much even post 1000km. The 1000km mark is not like a switch that is flipped to let you go berserk on the bike. I've been adviced by forum elders and also have seen for myself that the bike grows more in sync with you till around 5000km. Until 5000km, treat the bike with care and respect. Try to understand the bike and how to use it. Have patience and take as much time as you need to. The bike is yours to keep forever. It won't run away, like the girls in our lives. It'll stay faithful. Lavish time on your bike. Learn to maintain it first. Learn what makes it run like new and all that stuff.

Once you're confident that you know the bike like you know the back of your hand(to the average Joe, that's close to 5000km, hence the number I suggested), you can consider yourself ready to "unleash the real power" of your baby. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say to you.
Don't matter what it is: Touring; Racing; Commuting. All I know is, I belong on the saddle.

                    Hello bro,
Yes I understand what you say. Even I've seen many people saying that engine breaks in until 5000kms in this forum. Actually what I meant was I want to take my bike to post 7.5k rpm after the 1000kms mark..!! But not redlining! [emoji724] And even I don't have any roads here to push my bike to the fullest! So I've to keep calm until the time comes.
Anyway thanks a lot for your advice bro. [emoji5]️ This is why xBhp feels so good! [emoji173]️

And friends, today I had a terrific incident!
Actually the right side switch assy has been broken two days ago, and I went to SVC to replace it. Those people charged me ₹360 for the right side switch assy and replaced it. After then I shoved in the key, waited for the speedo to do all it's melodrama, and turned on the engine kill switch, and when I cranked the engine, just for a second the engine trouble warning and coolant warning light lighted up (in a very dim manner) less than a second! ( When the bike makes that cranking sound which lasts less than a second) Had no idea what it was, and immediately turned off my bike and asked the SVC guys what it was. They saw this and they too had no idea! One guy came in and took my bike for 500mts. Then he came in and said now the light isn't coming and you can go! But when I again turned on the engine it again came! ( Remember, both the warning lights illuminated too dim ) Then again asked him what it was and he opened the seat and kept on checking the voltage of my battery. It was normal and after few minutes the problem went off! Then he said take your bike now and bring it again the next morning only if the problem persists!
I was about to cry in that moment in front of everyone coz I was thinking that something has happened to my baby! And after then I rode my bike for a good 35 kms and the problem didn't come up again! Feeling little relaxed now but still don't have any idea why that happened!
Could anybody throw some light on this please? [emoji120]🏻

                      Hello people,
Im kind of torn between Yamaha. R15 and Honda CBR250.
R15 has amazing design language and adequate power. 250R Honda has much more but design is so dull and they haven't updated it in ages.
                      Your precious opinion please

The same ODO changes to F- when the bike goes in reserve fuel, . If you click the button once the same ODO with change to TRIP 1, click again to get TRIP 2 and then again to get ODO again.

                        Hope this solves the confusion.
Thanks Ankey, I realized it was 'ODO' and not 3 0's after a close observation :P .

I am planning a ride to Ladakh and back, with two more friends. Any fellow mumbaikar interested in Leh-Ladakh ride starting from 27th Aug '16 to 11th sept '16 can contact me.

If anyone here has installed leo vince corsa on R15v2, kindly throw some light on the procedure to do it. I have procured the full system, but havent installed it as yet

I'm actually in the same conundrum right now. I've decided to give the R15 a chance because I hope to own a supersport someday in the future. The CBR is a proven sports tourer. But it's also an amazing all-rounder. It's bulletproof. I'll quote two phrases I've heard about the 250R and Honda over the years:

"These Honda's last forever man!" and "The [CBR]250R put me to sleep."

Make what you will of that. I've never owned a CBR and the test ride told me I'd like the bike. So don't quote me on that.

The R15 - will take a lot of getting used to. I know I'll be enduring weeks of body pain when I get the R15. But I love the power and torque delivery of the bike, the quality, fit and finish, the style and the supersport tag also helps. I'm inclined towards to R15s right now, but on the day I might just get the V 2.0 because my heart wants that one.

Thanks for the reply man. If i only had the budget i would shoot straight for the R3! Alas!

I didn't quite understand the quote "CBR250 put me to sleep" . Do they become boring after a while or that they haven't been updated since Mughal e Azam came out!
