What to do to make them accept that they strip the bike and rebuild it?
And in your bike did they changed the rim stripes which comes similar to the bike colour?
Thanks a lot for your timley help brother! ☺️☺️
Sorry brother, I can't advise you how to confront them about being truthful about the rebuilding. But from what you have told me, they will never accept the that they have rebuild a bike, cause they need the extra 3000 bucks from you. I'm afraid you have to decide that on your own.

The rim strips are yellow in my bike and it matches the monoshock at the back. Looks good. But rims strips are very minor things and can be easily replaced afterwards.
Focus on getting the bike first.

Feel free to ask any more queries. Do let us know what you decide.

[MENTION=69523]Ankey[/MENTION] I've decided not to buy the new colours anymore bro! Coz we shouldn't regret after buying a thing. So let it be the cyan colour and let them rebuild it! No problem... As you gave me some confidence about rebuilding a new bike! So am gonna pay them the amount when the bank sanction me a loan!
But still the showroom people haven't called me yet! It's been nearly one month since I booked the bike in their showroom! That makes me really sad regarding their service! [emoji19][emoji19]

To get your bike quickly, you have to keep bugging them, call them every second day, if the showroom is nearby, visit them once every 10 days, take your dad along.
If you have paid the booking amount it is your right to bug them till you get your bike.
As you have told before they are not honest, so you have to deal with them harshly.
Ask them to commit to a fixed date when they will be able to deliver the bike. Else mail to the Yamaha customer care or call them, they are helpful and will get the job done quickly. All the best. Post pics when you get the bike.

No bro! They are ready to deliver me the bike within two days if I pay the full amount! So the only problem is bank loan! They've to sanction me the loan! So waiting for them to sanction!
And sure bro! Will post pictures once when I get the bike! Even I can't wait... [emoji28][emoji7]

And I also heard that the money paid by the insurance company will decrease by 20% for each claims. I'm a eal noob when it comes insurance and other legality stuff. If the cost of repair can be estimated then I can easily decide whether to go for or not.
Better take an insurance if it is a cash less insurance then nothing will be borne from your pocket other 50% will be deducted from plastic. Do share your bill here. If you can.

Here goes my long story short. After using Hero Puch Shakti, Lml Vespa, HeroHonda Passion and Bajaj Discover, I finally bought the RE 350 for better commuting and to explore the biker in me.
Nice story. Comming all the way from classic 350 to 500 then settling down on a 150cc. Nice well even I used to thing of buying one classic 350cc then the research and everything just made be turn my eyes from this bike. As there are so many problems on it. Anyway why are we talking about this when you have a tension free bike in your hand. More over a second hand one where I see that it is the best bike even after the second hand you have managed so many km on it. Wow that sounds cool. But yeah I am ridding a avanger being fat don't feel like comming on r15 but when ever I see this bike I do turn my head at least twice. There is something which attracts you towards it. What ever it is I don't know but yes there is love you see with this bike. In the end all the best ride safe good luck.

              • Yamaha R15 v2.0 Chain and Sprocket

Hi, i have got Yamaha R15 v2.0 , chain is getting noisy, its a bit expensive from showroom, i am planing to buy it from outside. I wanted to know pros and cons, or any thing i should keep in mind while buying or if it can be repaired. Chain is jam, its just the problem of chain, is it ok to clean the chain from petrol and use it again? i am so confused, for me its the first time in 3 years. Please suggest what is the life of chain set and how to recognize if it should be changed?

                Thanks in advance.

@christo I Bust the 220 steel brake cables on my R15 2 days back. Was a near death experience.
Lasted for a good 60000 kms. Switching back to rubber stock lines for now . Will get another 220 line later (low on cash now )and mount it. My advice for fellow guys who are into pulsar 220 lines for R15, beware of how you mount it in the bike. A little bit of kink or bend and the cable will snap from that location in long run. Try to mount the cable in such a way that its devoid of any kinks or steep bends.

I don't know and never used any Motul coolant, but if and that's a big "IF" the coolant is having silicate then you can kiss your water pump seals goodbye.
So if the above coolant is silicate free then use it else no.

                          Hello xBhpians!
Am gonna buy an R15 tomorrow here in Coimbatore. I was super excited about getting my dream bike as just a few hours more to get the bike... But all my excited face faded once when the sales lady told me that your bike will be delivered to you only the day after tomorrow, because they need to take the bike to RTO office for the registration formalities..
Now my worries and queries are do the showroom people will ride my bike sanely to the RTO office? As per the universal biking rule, any new bike should not cross it's RPM limit in it's first 1000 kms. So that guy who ride my bike will follow this with my new baby? Or he will just ride it too harshly?
Somebody please throw some light on this guys! Confused a lot! [emoji30][emoji25]
                          Thanks in advance. [emoji120]🏻
