Hey guys when I turned ignition today I got 46 code. 4 long beeps 6 short ones. Does that mean is my battery weak as the error code means faulty power supply to the ecu? I have never had problems with battery. Starts at the first crank every morning

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
I have updated the stock bulbs with Osram Silverstar HS1 35/35w and connected both bulbs in Low beam as well . Below is the output .. Its slightly more than what shows in picture..
Low Beam - 70w consumption

High Beam - 70w consumption

Both Beams - Switch in center position. Somewhere around 140w consumption.

yamaha r15 v2.0 engine oil change
Hi guys !! I was thinking to switch my engine oil for my yamaha r15v2.0 from semi synthetic to fully synthetic, Motul 300v 15w 50 as it has been crossed 15k...But still confused which one is better ?? the 300v or the 7100 ?? and switching to a fully synthetic oil will cause any harm to my engine ??? as it is not recommended !! And what about the coolant ?? motul motocool is better or is there any other coolant out at the market ?? please do help me with your valuable feedback.

Re: yamaha r15 v2.0 engine oil change
You can go back a few pages for the engine oil recommendations and experience. For me 7100 FS has been serving well.
Regarding coolant, I havent yet drained the stock coolant, but have been topping it up from SVC on regular basis. I have Motocool coolant with me, but havent used it yet.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Thanku Chirag...but have u ever tried the 300v on it ?? Because i could probably see there are many people who have been using the 300v regularly !! and the coolant must be changed once in a year right ??Last edited by Jessel Paul; 04-12-2016, 02:41 PM.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
I havent tried the 300v. Was really tempted to use it because of the way it is advertised
. But scanning through the net with user opinions, gave a feeling that it might not be optimum for a 150cc mil of r15. The motul recommendations dont show 300v as recommended for r15. People have reported heating issues with it. For 20K kms 7100 has been serving me reallly well.
Coolant need not be changed every year. You can topup if required.

Yeah chirag i catch that well.
.I spoke to one of my local yamaha expert, and he said me that the bike must cross atleast 10,000 km fr upgrading to fully synthetic..as some people are switching to fully synthetic at below 10,000 km is the cause for over heating of The engine.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
That is true. Even I have switched to FS after 10k kms. But as 300v isnt reommended by Motul for r15, I am still skeptical in going ahead with that oil.Originally posted by Jessel Paul View PostYeah chirag i catch that well.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
either your battery has conked off or there is some loose connection / burnt/ broken wires in your injector connection got the same issue because of a loose connection.Originally posted by manub View PostHey guys when I turned ignition today I got 46 code. 4 long beeps 6 short ones.
