They're in need of replacement now after completing 14,000 kms. Will be getting the stock ones again, pretty happy with them. (Only need to replace the rear tyre)

Guys its really hard to get an mrf revz 90/80-17 right now as my old tyres side wall have cracked and when i contacted the mrf dealers they said its not in stock and has been not coming since months passed...and when i got in touch with the mrf go-down in our city they said they have stooped giving it to private dealers around and have started giving it directly to the yamaha factory....i could find one old stock in one of the shops and he said the price is rs 2600..then most of them told me to go for mrf 90/90-17 or michelin's 90/80-17...which one to go for ??

Yup, it's really hard to get one. Which Michelin and MRF is it? Don't go for Pilot Sporty, I've not seen good reviews for it.

Brother, if you don't mind me asking, why do the rear tire needs replacement only after 14,000 kms??
These tires have expected life of 30,000 kms, many riders have clocked even more than that without any issues.
I myself have clocked aroud 22,000 kms on them and they are still going strong. May I know what is the reason for this replacement??
I mean, how do I know when to change my tires? Mine have no cracks, no air loss, grip the road well and only 3 punctures on the rear and none on the front. So what are the signs that tell me to change?? Thanks in advance for helping me.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Guys my front tyre is also due for replacement. But I couldn't find the stock tyre . I'm unable to decide between Michelin pilot sporty 90/90*17 and FZ's mrf front 100/80*17 and mrf 90/90*17.
Please suggest me the better option..

Brother first of all the MRF has stopped distributing the 90/80-17 Tyre to the private dealers and even mrf outlets in the cities when i got in touch with the mrf they said me so.And one of the mrf outlet shop owner said me that the Tyre may come or may not once in six month or so.But the Tyre is still in the production line and its been supplied directly to the yamaha factory for the new bikes as told by MRF guys.even my tyre is getting replaced tomorrow and i have decided to go for the Michelin pilot sporty as i did a recent survey and compared about the both tyres i could see that michelin's rubber is an mixed rubber and durability is more compared to MRF as mrf has hard rubber and develops crack soon as mine occurred now.

I've seen only bad reviews about the pilot sporty. Zapper FS is good, but not as good as stock. This tyre actually comes as stock on the Pulsar 180/220.

On my friends bike the stock rear lasted only 7000km. He replaced with Michelin Pilot Street 140/70.

Guys... I've left my bike in service centre today for the 1st service!
They are telling me that the valve needs to be adjusted as the sound is not normal! I don't know whether the sound is normal or abnormal because this is my first R15 and I don't know how the sound will be(I ain't an expert in finding minute differences in sound) . And the horn is also not working properly sometimes!
And regarding Engine Oil they're saying that Semi-Synthetic has been stopped and nowadays all the R15 vehicles are filled with Fully-Synthetic only!
**And the most important thing is I've left my bike there with full tank petrol!**
Is there anything to worry about these things?
Please show some light on this friends!

Please not Pilot sporty. They have life, but no grip. They only slips

If they found it should be adjusted, then you got no much choice. Let them do their job and see if the sound is gone fully.
Yes, R15'now uses FS oil. No issues with it.
Petrol I am not sure, even if they take some, it will be hard for you to notice. Anyway it will be only healthy for the fuel pump to remain in a good quantity of petrol...

Try at MRF Exclusive stores. I also had a hard time finding FY1 in Pune and almost every dealer told me that the production had stopped or we are not getting any stock since months. I found two MRF exclusive stores both of which had all models in stock. Do check there if you have one in your city.

Well, I'm no expert on tires or their changing schedule but for mine, they are completely slick down the middle (I do mostly highway riding), and slip while braking in the wet so I've decided to be on the safer side and change them. Although I will go and ask the SVC guys for their opinion. Will most probably get pirellis or michelins, but 1st choice will be getting the stock ones.

My tires too dont have any cracks, there is no air loss, there has only been 1 puncture so far, but the main thing is feel is that they're not confidence inspiring anymore as much as they used to be. I'm not comfortable riding in them and its always present on the back of my mind that i have smooth tires which can very easily slip in the wet.

I've been planning to change the exhaust too, and been saving up money for that. Will change that along with the levers in around 6 months

Well! Thanks for helping out bro! [emoji111]🏻️ And what about that horn issue?
Got the bike in the evening and I think the horn problem still persists! And both brakes feel so spongy and it has no effect as it had earlier! The SVC people said that the brake oil has to dry well.. Please check after 2 days and bring the bike here if the problem persists!

Horn issue if it still persists, again raise the issue until its solved.
And brakes, I think they might need bleeding if its too spongy. Try cleaning the disc or putting pressure washer to the pads.
And I have no idea what they meant brake oil had to dry 🤔
