    chain sound

    does that sound means there is something fishy with my chain? if yes then should i be going for a new chain or that sound can be removed....help

      How old is your chain sprocket kit? Sound can change. It doesnt always mean its kaput. Clean it well and try ..
      Or, is the chain adjustment at its peak?? Or check the sprocket teeth. Has it become sharp?

        That sounds to me like the chain is rubbing against something. As @Ivin suggested, clean the chain and look out if the chain is touching the chain guard or swingarm at any place.

          bike has done 11500kms and as far as sprockets are concerned i have checked them and they show no signs of going down....the drive chain has been cleaned 2 weeks ago and has been lubed with motul from the start....but this sound is annoying me everyday man....attaching some pics

                      I wanted the rock face to be visible in the background but I think that I did mess up the lighting equation and in turn, the photo.

                            You are from which place? Sorry, had to ask as I couldn't see it in your details field. Well, in Hyderabad it costs 125,628 INR which is like the second costliest place in India I believe after the top honours being taken by Bangalore.

                            Check the coolant level, electricals (horn, indicators, headlights etc etc), take a ride before really signing off from the showroom. Check for scratches and damages, fitting of fairing, swingarm, tyres alignment, chain lubing. Tell them that you want to see your bike getting prepped up.

                                nice if you are interested to join in for rides then have a look at my signature just today around 43 bikers invaded the kanakapura road 15 R15's and 14 RD350's with few other bikes. one hell of a big group ride.
