Can someone please tell me what is the color code and what type of paint should be used for the same?

Do you have any pic showing the white wheels + blue bike combo on an R15?

well as you said, they are meant to protect the fairings in a fall. unfortunately there are no frame sliders for R15 and also no place given to even mount them thats the only bad thing and R15. sadly nothing can be done when you have a fall. all you can do is change the damaged parts.

            Thanks.

I got the tank full at 450 Km, Right now i have done 529km. I was driving in the morning and saw 1 fuel bar disappered. Now when i started i saw 2 less. Then after 2-3 mins of riding all came back ( fuel bar was full ). Is this normal ?

** Sorry about using disappering, couldn`t think of anything simpler

i have not heard of ASVC selling the paddok stands for R15. but you can get it from out. since i live in bangalore i cant tel where you will get it in your city. FYI i have heard that the paddock stand for CBR250r can be used for R15 V2 with minor changes.

simple logic man. first of all its digital and works on the sensor thats fitted inside the tank. now when you place the bike on side stand, the bike is tilted, and the sensor senses the amount of fuel available. now when you make the bike upright and switch on the bike suddenly, the meter shows the current reading thats sensed sometime back. now as the fuel settels down to correct order, the meter senses the correct amount of fuel available, and shows u the correct reading . dont worry. just make sure you keep filling up when there are 3 bars left, since its FI the fuel should be 3liters or more. now before you ask me "then why 1.9 Li of reserve?", its because yamaha has kept it that way

                  • F*** this bike is cheaper than my previous Pulsar 180. Its maintenance is hardly anything

3rd servicing complete yesterday- Rs 585 only, Dropped it at 8.30am and picked it up by 1pm. Again thanx to Vishwas for keeping me in his office.

                    - Changed the engine Oil - Rs 505
                    - Consumables - 60
                    - 2 Yamaha Logos (the one above brake light, Rs 10each) X2 - 20
                    - Coolant checked - top up not required
                    - Oil Filter was not changed - they said that every 10,000kms the filter is changed not before that, cleaning procedure is carried on in every service by blowing high pressurized air. I went upstairs and checked the mechanism myself. This is something which I dint see in YFS, all i saw was a basin filled with used filters at the corner.
                    - Tightened the accelerator cable, it was sort of loose.
                    - Fairings were tightened.
                    - Gear lever adjusted.
                    - Bike got polished.

So by now, You need to -
                    1) Not change the oil filter till 10,000kms
                    2) Inspection of Air filter is done at 10,000 if required then only its changed.
                    3) Coolant fill up or top up is also not required every service.

@all please keep the above information handy before dropping your bike for service. When i went to give my bike they also told me how other service companies just dig money by coolant and filter changes every servicing. The engineer out there also told me that yes you can change, not a problem, but its actually not required as we clean the filter with pressurized air every time, its good as new, why the 10K change because used filter will get torn or develop other damages and that's okay since it has serviced for 10k kms.

Ohh yes I dint mention that, no its Rs 60(Cleaning) + Rs60(Lubing) - Rs120. No its the same during paid or free service. I dint opt for it since I perform this task every weekend, I use wd40 for cleaning and OKS chain spray for lubing, does the job quite well.

Every weekend ? Is your riding environment so dirty or the chain lube is sticking too much of dirt?

No sir, my daily commute is around 50-60kms involving NH-4. Speeds are mostly in three digits, so after a week of use i see no lube on it. Cleaning of chain depends if its actually required but lubing is compulsory. Using the same pattern for previous bike, Pulsar 180 Chain lasted for odd 36,000kms.

Also you need to lightly spray on the chain ensuring it does not drip. 2 rotations are enough for good lube, the difference can be easily spotted, smooth gear shifts.
