Here is the LINK and please clear my doubts
Hey Guys , This is a comparison between CBR 150 r and R15 V 2.0
My Major doubt -
1.In that Review , they have said R15 V 2.0 Engine sleeps after 8,500 RPM ( I mean it struggles ) Is that so ?
2. They said they clocked 130 km/hr on the Speedo between 8,500 RPM . I just wanted to know , what will be the speed of R15 V2.0 @ 8,500 RPM ?
3. They said they clocked 100 km/hr in 3 rd gear . Why not , The rev limiter for the CBR 150 r is 11,500 RPM ( i guess ) and R15 V2.0 clocked 92 km/hr in third gear .
4. They said ( You can comfortably cruise at 70-80 kph in topgear but still has enough juice to reach a 130-140 kmph without downshifting. ) R15 V2.0 can't do this ? or it needs a downshift or it takes more time than CBR 150 r )
5. Honda CBR engine revs quickly than R15 V2.0 . May i know , How ?
I request you guys to clear my doubts

it is not necessary in all the bike/cars, it is just used to balance tire.Originally posted by suraj_vanse View PostWell, I did not have that metal thing when i got my bike
In the below pic you can see the wheel weight on the car's rim also but you will not find this in all the cars.
You can search in youtube for more detail.

Help needed !!
Guys , I'm still waiting for May 2nd , to take her for a ride . Till now 18 km's clocked on the ODO .
1. Before taking her for a ride , should i Replace the Engine Oil + oil filter ? I din't get my manual yet . So could you mention the Brand name and Type .
2. I have planned to change Engine oil + oil filter @ 500 km's , 1000 km's , 1500 km's , 3000 km's and the rest regarding the Service manual . By maintaining proper Run in and by doing this process will this ensures a increase in engine performance and Bike's health ?
3. Can any one of you tell me what is the minimum content of octane is needed for the R15 V 2.0 and May i know where can i fill petrol ? Shell super unleaded or Bharath petroleum normal Petrol ?
PS - Guys , as you already discussing about what Engine oil can be used . Even i went through Mr. Abhimanyu LINK , but still i'm under confusion !! So please help me

personally i have not tried the CBR, but will tel you my experience.
1. they are just telling you the technical stuffs. on the recent ride i did, the bike keeps hitting the rev limiter again and again with out struggling. now i dont know what kind of rider they asked to ride the bike. and when there is a limit for a bike, it obviously gets little tough for the bike after crossing it.
2. even R15 can do the same, i did {again recently}
3. exactly.
4. again i tried this, and bike does not let you down. {as i said i didnt try CBR i cant comment on that} i ride the bike everyday for 40kms,, and keep crossing 120+ kmph, never i felt it struggles. will add one more thing, proper gear shifting will do wonders
trust me
5. this one i have no idea.
but question to you, why are you having these doubts? are you planning on a race with a CBR150r?
i see you have not even ridden the bike, 18kms wont qualify
i say ride the bike till 1k kms, then come back and tel me it let you down or not.

The subtle changes definitely look good but knowing the creative side in you, I am sure you can do better. And try sticking to brands which the bike is associated with.Originally posted by Ron Syl View Posthey guys, i did something in Photoshop

1st service report
I just got my bike after 1st service. Here is the cost of the service
Sri Motors, Chennai. (Gave after 780 kms )
YamaLube Oil - 410.48
Chain Cleaning Oil - 100
Chain Lube - 100
Oil Filter - 145.85
Vat @ 14.5 % - 109.67
Total 866 INR.
The gear shift is now very smooth. False neutral problem is resolved. The ride is pretty smooth now. The difference is very clear. As I mentioned in my previous posts, I dint follow the run in period recommendations to the mark with few violations (Controlling is too difficult!!
). Thank god its YAMAHA!!
. The amount of difference before and after service is remarkable that I rode in the hot and humid climate (Chennai!
) and in traffic for most of the day, just for the smoothness of the ride!!
. Awaiting 1000 on odo to start ripping!!
