saquib3005: Sorry bro for such late reply. Just saw your post. YFS, Pune is at wakdewadi, just besides Hero showroom and opp. to SNK Bajaj. BTW when are you riding back to B'lore? I'm going to B'lore this friday. It would be great if we can ride together.Originally posted by saquib3005 View Post@ArnabC can you please share th location of YFS, Pune where you visit for servicing.
I have ridden from Bangalore to Pune yesterday and will be riding from Pune to Indore today.
Want to just check the bike there.
Bit confused, is it near hero showroom or bajaj showroom because in gmaps it is showing in shivajinagar.

Yes it might be the clutch plate problem. The clutch plate might have been impacted due to the fall as you said the bike had a fall on the left side. Same type of fall one of my friends had with his FZ. In his case the gear got stuck at 4th gear. So better to move to ASC.Originally posted by siddharthsure View PostThen i don't know whats the problem... I guess its related to clutch plate. Push it to SVC and let them solve the prob.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
It was the completely loosened clutch free play. Brought a mechanic and he found the culprit. He then adjusted the clutch free play and after that I feel that the bike is not accelerating properly beyond 4k as it felt to me before. Is it the improperly adjusted free play or just my thought.Originally posted by siddharthsure View PostThen i don't know whats the problem... I guess its related to clutch plate.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Hi fellas, I have been watching and following this thread since December, when I purchased R15.
Yesterday I observed unusual thing in my bike.
When bike's engine kill button is pushed, bike is not supposed to crank the engine, right? It never did before.
Yesterday i observed that when engine kill button is pushed, it cranks, it makes sound of engine starting but bike doesnt get start. It starts only when engine kill button is off. But if im not wrong it's not supposed to even make any sound. Has anyone else experienced such before? Is this thing serious or anyhow related to faulty ECU or something?

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Hi guys,
I had my R15 serviced a few weeks ago (First free service). When the service card was being made, the mechanic recommended to add Fuel injection system cleaner (cost Rs 120) and Engine oil booster (cost 150), as the next service will be after 70 days. Both extras were in liquid form contained in small well sealed bottles, and had YAMALUBE labels. I was really getting late for the office at that time and didn't had enough time to inquire about the benefits of adding the optional extras, so I agreed to everything mech said and he added them to the service card.
now I don't have any knowledge of any such things like engine oil booster and Fuel injection system cleaner etc. So can you guys guide me.
1.Are these supplements worth the extra money.
2.If the mech asks to add them on the second service as well, should I spend the money or not.
After the service when I was taking the bike, the same mech warned me to drive slowly because the breaks were wet and wont work for a few Kms. so my breaks didn't work well for about 10 days after the service. The bite never came however hard I pressed the lever and pedal. I thought that they replaced my new break pads with old worn out ones (I've read something like this happening to someone), but eventually they got better and are now perfect like before.
But I wash my bike every Sunday and the breaking is never effected in any way.
can someone please tell What was the reason for this??I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.
