Is there a difference between K&N and BMC FFAF? Some say its just quality that differs but some say both quality and performance do!
Actually getting one in 2-3days so need help!

Don't know about performance but quality is surely better.

Hmmm. Also do you know if splitfire cables can be replaced with OEM cables? Read it is know for its low resistance which is kind off needed with a NGK iridium spark plug of which I' m going to get both shortly installed!

If you want to do such mods, then first change the stock brake lines with a steel braided ones. They will give more feedback and help in better braking performance.
Rest you should do after this.

            Ride safe and have fun.

I have got the steel brake lines of Pulsar 220cc quite a long ago! Now could give any tips or points to be checked to get this done! That would help me further. I just have the theoretical knowledge(half baked :P ).

I am also planning to get the steel braided brake lines of Pulsar 220. Can you please give me some details about the feedback?

                  Good thing

As for the spark plug and split-fire cable, my knowledge about them would not be of much help. Go through the 'spark plug' thread (ad will i) and hopefully you will find some useful info.

But what i have read a few times is that these don't offer much improvement on our small displacement engines. You might get slightly better cold starts and that it.

Pipecross filters are really good and have seen good reviews about them. Don't know if they make filters for R15. You should check for them.

                  Ride safe and have fun.

Its good! The spongy feel which I used to get while braking when I had rubber hose(stock wala) isn't there anymore! I feel more confident to brake now *big grin*.
But the only drawback is the fitting! When installed, the cable although having a plastic material around tends to eat away the right panel slowly and in order to avoid this I have tried it with a strap to the fork. I'm bad at explanation so I can send you the pics if you need.
Other than this issue its just fine. I got it for 1200 bucks from a automobile stores as Popular Bajaj didn't have it in stock any they claim they won't get this particular spare at the service centre by the company as its of good quality and hence durable!

I read on '**********' blog that we can find a bit of improvement with NGK and MSD cables. He says an ignition coil too would help increase along!
I don't know anything about that and I ll speak to my mech about it.
I read reviews about pipercross FFAF and am wanting to go for that only but nowhere I found online sellers for R15 or distributors in Bangalore
                      Help me find 1 :|

Can anyone help me towith part no of the oem brake pads(both front and rear) with the price for yamaha r15v2.0 , i believe the local service centre people are cheating people here by sourcing cheaper quality brake pads and charging a 400 bucks(front) for them

The front brake pad kit here, at YFS, Pune, is sold at INR 468, inclusive of all taxes. But anyone who is getting at some other price, please do let us know.
