Actually I find my bike's front brakes working little better after the servicing/wash as the dirt, mud stuff is washed away.

I have a P150 and the brakes are not that strong. Rear is a drum which is as useless as diesel in a petrol powered car. Front disc tends to loose its brakign capabilities when they turn slightly hot which I believe is ok but still braking and slow deceleration are pant wetting things.
Thanks for replying bhai,
I'll try washing the brakes if the problem occurs after next service.
Thanks again.

Hi there brother,
I bought R15 about 2 months ago and yes I take my mom to school every morning which is about 7 Kms from my home.
As Andy_Kristine said it depends entirely on the physical fitness of the person sitting with you. In my case All of my family members including my mom are between 50 - 55 Kgs. we are all skinny bunch of people so my mom dosent have much trouble getting on or off the bike. She did fell awkward at first because she was used to my old splendor and my sisters activa, but eventually got used to it.

So, it all depends. All the best mate. Do tell us what you decide. Please feel free to ask anything anytime regarding the bike.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

suit salwaars 95% of times and saree 5% of the times.

I take car or my sister's activa if she is wearing saree.

Yes it can cause problem.
i would suggest you to go to showroom with your mom and take a test drive with her, then only you can be sure that you and aunty both are comfortable.
I did the same and my mom said no, not a chance, it is too high, too uncomfortable etc etc.
but my sister came to my side and said that I can take car, or her activa or my old splendor to drop my mom to school.

A local Motul dealer is offering me a 300v for Rs. 870, but its manufactured in Aug. 2010. Is it safe to buy an 4 year old oil??
Getting a Motul is difficult in my city...
i am growing old, but not up!

Depends on the dealer. Why not check it out with dealers themselves. Nobody can give an exact information like them.

Why risk? Although I don't know much of science and oils mainly but when you can something manufactured this year why go for something which is old!?

Well actually there is no place here thats offering a 300v 10W50 expect this guy, the only other Motul oil available is 7100 4T 10W40 or the castrol power1 synthetic

I'm surprised! Why not check with oil dealers in your city and contact them up.
In my city(Bangalore) I do get it almost everywhere.
If I were you I'd wait and ask thr shop guy with whom I found the old oil to get new stock!
He is trying to push the old stock I guess and for which me might have told there wouldn't be any harm in using it.
Well, just enquire when the new stock is going to arrive.

there are only two Motul dealers here, the other one dosent even stocks it. Since its a expensive oil people dont buy them much and hence dealers dont stock it.
This dealer has about 10 cans already in stock so he aint gona order any fresh stock soon and yes he told me theres no issue in going for a old packaged oil!!!

Can i go for the 7100 10W40 instead of the 300V?

Clever bugger! Don't just dance to his tunes!!
Why not try out Motul 7100 20W50(if he has that at least in stock :P ). As Ivin mentioned earlier that too is a good oil and can last long as it is FS oil!
