As far as I know, YFS, Pune don't sell anything online. But first check out with Bangalore Wheels. Else, I can bring it when to B'lore. Let me know.

If you're looking for tips, you're at the right place. Go through the posts and you will get to know a lot about your bike. But please follow-in the break-in directions given in the user manual thoroughly.Originally posted by Gkhanna View Postgot the r15 today in gurgaon from green yamaha, bike feels great but my hands feel lil tired/pain after riding 10km. i just gotta get used to the sitting position.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
I am moving out of Delhi and don't want all the hassle of taking the bike with me. Things are in a flux and i am taking a break from motorcycling to focus on other things.Originally posted by aditya_YZF-R15 View PostWTF ? :P
ok seriously, why selling so soon ? neither RC390 (which i know you are more interested in) nor R25/R3 is up in the market yet.
i don't know if i will ever sell my R15..even if i should at some point, don't know if i'd be able to emotionally :P
BTW, getting emotionally attached to an inanimate object like a bike is not a good thing. ;-)

True, I agree. Any plans of coming back soon? I'm planning to hit the track in August. BIC just mailed that they might plan an open track day in August. Thought of riding with you at the track..Originally posted by incipient View Post

i am very emotionable/vulnerable/weird like that :POriginally posted by incipient View PostBTW, getting emotionally attached to an inanimate object like a bike is not a good thing. ;-)
..get attached to inanimate things (special ones at that) that i have used for some time very easily :\ :P this bike obviously the most special thing so far...had a bit of senti moments selling my cycle at the end of college that i rode for 5 years there lol :P my childhood cycle with gears and all is still kept at home garage with me not agreeing to sell it even though it's not been ridden for years now and there's also my 11 years old scooty (but that is still ridden and thus useful to go nearby places whenever i am at home)..weird dude.
i will take my R15v2 with myself anywhere i move to within india

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Depends from person to person. For me getting attached to inanimate objects, like your first bike, first cycle etc, anything I love, seems more natural than getting attached to some people who will only do harm all the way. So getting emotionally attached to those animate objects is also not a good thing. Atleast the inanimate objects would not hurt or betray you if you take care of them. But some animate objects, no matter how much you take care of them, will only be hurting or betraying you. Though only a personal opinion and most people are not as weird as me.Originally posted by incipient View PostBTW, getting emotionally attached to an inanimate object like a bike is not a good thing. ;-)

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
yeah, when it's the first thing of a kind (first cycle, first vehicle) it's natural for most people to get attached to them to a certain extent (not necessarily as much weirdly as me though hehe) for years and years after those things have stopped working or barely working and rationally aged enough to throw them away or something.
in my case, my school cycle still at home garage was my first own cycle (previous ones were from elder cousins and so on) and a special one at that (had gears, and that too the first geared cycle in indian market back in those days), my 11 yrs old scooty my first vehicle, the R15v2 my first bike in general not just first sportbike... and so on...
although as said earlier i am generally weird about it irrespective of first thing of a kind or 10th...i know i'll be very attached to my 2nd, 3rd, Nth bikes as well if it so happens that i really loved and had a great time with any of them...even if i end up not really liking or enjoying some of them all that much, i will still be somewhat attached to them if i have nonetheless used them for quite some time..Last edited by aditya_YZF-R15; 05-03-2014, 01:51 AM.

Sorry for the late reply man, but i guess our dates don't match. Hell, even we are yet to confirm our dates, mostly in July though. There seems to be some festival in Ladakh from 1st July-14th July, so lets see. Anyways, im trying to get a month off but you know how managers are. Fingers crossed.Originally posted by ArnabC View PostYeah !!! I know what trip is coming up
BTW you can join me. I'm also going there as you already know.
