True man, just wanted to imply that people who know about this learn to shift up at around 9500 rpm.

Got the tappets adjusted by an ASC technician! He gave the freedom to stand next to him and watch the whole process as my friend knew this technician!
I like to thank Pinaki and Arnab for your advise on my engine's issue which was there for around 4-5months for now!
Now my bike revvs like it used to. My PowerTronics does make me feel the change [emoji16] [emoji16]

Just had a chat with the service center mech today while giving my R15 for service. I asked him whether the 2014 R15 has any worthwhile upgrades,
it seems the ECU kits been changed completely, then something about the fuel pump is new and Yamaha have finally made use of an O2 sensor in the bike.
Now new R15 owners won't have to worry about the fueling while going for performance mods.
Don't think there's a way to install an O2 sensor on older models though.

Today while i was getting my baby serviced at the local ASC, chatting with the mechanic that handles the R15s told me that the new R15s have susbtantial changes as compared to the 2013 models. Which includes a O2 sensor, to increase the fuel economy Yamaha has included a small box which collects the evaporated fuel from the tank and re introduces into the engine and new wiring etc!!!!
He had recently been to the Yamaha India plant visit. Also he confirmed the launch of the new fuel injected FZ!!

Buy why yamaha says that 2014 models only have cosmetic changes?? Why they didnt disclose those changes?? Very strange.

Really ? Recheck. Its the pad that costs ₹400. Lines of duke 200 costs around ₹1300 rear alone.
Rear can be fitted. Front cannot be.

May be the spares guy heard me wrong, even I was wondering about the same. Are the front ones too short? I guess the only option left will be pulsar 220 brake lines which are difficult to procure or the HEL which cost significantly more.

Pulsar spares are usually the easiest to get. There are a abundance of service centers so, it shouldn't be tough.

Any significant changes when you swap the brake lines with those of the pulsar?

Mate, I'd advise not to respond to queries from that particular handle, this guy has been spamming a lot of guys PM by posting the same question to many people and doesn't seem to be with good intentions. So keep away if you get any PM from this person.

                            Cheers

Guys two days ago I changed my headlight doom set from projectors to normal ones. While changing it a wire from the projector kit touched the steel part in the fork and short circuited... now the bike won't start.... I am forced to jump start the bike to travel anywhere
What might the problem... but the wire touched the steel part only for a second not more than that.... I thought the battery might have drained and gave it for charging.... but still no improvement....
any advice from the seniors will be more helpful..
